Bang!
Nan Moxin hit the deck. As a Ghost, that thunder had her completely floored!
Oh heaven, oh earth, send a lightning bolt to strike me back home!
"Careful." Murong Yan bent slightly at the waist and reached out to pull Nan Moxin up.
The feel of skin on skin once again proved that the two of them weren't so different, human and ghost. Or maybe this bizarre future world was actually full of Ghosts like her.
Murong Yan might be a Ghost too!
"Are you… a Ghost as well?" Nan Moxin got up with his help and tugged at her skirt.
Her hand passed straight through the skirt.
She was a soul, a Ghost, no physical body. Even when she touched herself she was transparent. So how could Murong Yan pull her? How could she have "real" contact with him?
"I'm human."
"But I'm not human, so why can you see me and touch me?"
Xiao Guai, who'd been playing dead this whole time, finally spoke: "Because of me."
"Still don't get it." Nan Moxin sighed.
