The ones transporting Pang Haichen's corpse are Yan Chen, Dai Yukang, and Tang Feifei.
Yan Chen and Dai Yukang were the advance team to capture Pang Haichen, Tang Feifei was there to reinforce.
Back in Dongye State, Tang Feifei seemed fine, but Yan Chen and Dai Yukang's faces were visibly troubled.
The reason was simple.
Originally, Qiu Tu had assigned two experts to go with them and capture Pang Haichen, so the two could "earn merit."
But after their long journey to the small hotel, they found Pang Haichen already dead inside!
Though they had already learned from Qiu Tu about Pang Haichen's betrayal, and knew he had been expelled from the sanctuary, no longer one of its six leaders.
Still… Even so, Pang Haichen held enormous political influence.
He could die, but not right now.
Once he died, the sanctuary would have to spend more to ensure stability and unity.
And that extra cost would turn their accomplishment into something negative, possibly even a criticism.
