"Alright." Long Chen nodded, then turned to look at Tang Le and Long Xin.
Neither of them spoke, simply nodding to convey they would follow his arrangements. Having received their tacit agreement, Long Chen made his decision.
He slowly raised his head, his gaze settling on Lei Zhen, Lei Man, and Lei Yujing. The three stared back intently, hoping his decision would be what they wished.
Long Chen began slowly, "Sect Leader, the Sect has treated me very well. Now that it needs someone to step forward, we are honor-bound to do so."
Upon hearing these words, the tension in the hearts of Lei Zhen and the others finally eased, and smiles appeared on their faces.
Lei Yujing laughed heartily. "Good kid, I knew I didn't misjudge you!"
Lei Man also smiled and nodded in agreement.
