"Where are you taking me?" Ye Qingchen asked, frowning at the old man gripping his arm.
"I'm just taking you to get accustomed to life here. In the future, you'll be serving the Young Miss! You must learn the rules of the Zheng Family, and learn them well!" the elder said bluntly, not bothering to hide his intentions as he led Ye Qingchen into a large courtyard.
Inside the courtyard, a group of handsome men were chatting and laughing amongst themselves. When they saw the elder leading Ye Qingchen in, they all fell silent, their gazes turning on him with ill intent. Ye Qingchen stared back, completely bewildered.
"Starting today, you will live with them in this courtyard! You are not to take a single step outside without permission! Furthermore, from this moment on, I will teach you the rules of the Zheng Residence! You will stay here obediently and serve the Young Miss!" The elder's words made Ye Qingchen's frown deepen.
