Xiao Xiao had not seen Ye Qingchen all day and was growing anxious.
"That's none of your business!" the leader of the group sneered. "You should be more worried about yourself!"
Xiao Xiao frowned, but before she could say anything, someone stepped out from behind her and knocked her unconscious without another word.
"The Young Lady's orders are to throw her into the deepest part of the back mountain!" the man commanded. With a wave of his hand, everyone behind him sprang into action.
"Boss, what a waste," one of them said, looking at Xiao Xiao's face with regret as they carried her. "A girl this pretty, just getting thrown out here. Tsk, tsk."
The leader looked back at his men and said slowly, "Do you know what the Young Lady's instructions were?"
