Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: The Legendary Blood Feud

Chapter 31: The Legendary Blood Feudhy

The Alliance camp was unusually quiet.

Two days had passed since both sides had agreed to settle things with a major battle. The wounded were slowly recovering, crafters worked day and night repairing armor and weapons, and scouts constantly moved in and out of the camp carrying reports.

Yet nobody felt safe.

In fact, the closer the battle came, the heavier the atmosphere became.

Inside the main command tent, leaders from different races sat around a large wooden table. Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, beastkin, and several other races were discussing the current situation.

Rathore pointed at a map spread across the table.

"The enemy attacks are becoming stronger every day."

His voice was calm, but everyone could hear the frustration behind it.

"Although, at the same time, our army is also getting stronger. People are leveling up, gaining new skills, and improving their equipment."

He paused before adding,

"But not fast enough."

The room became silent.

"The war has reached a point where we're at a disadvantage."

Nobody argued.

Because it was true.

The criminals had suffered losses.

The Alliance had suffered losses too.

Both sides were bleeding.

But there was one major difference.

For the criminals, this war was an opportunity.

Every kill meant experience.

Every victim meant loot.

Every battle made them stronger.

For the Alliance, however, every battle was life and death.

People weren't fighting because they wanted power.

They were fighting because they wanted to survive.

And as time passed, fear began to spread.

Some people had already abandoned the Alliance and joined the criminals just to stay alive one more day.

Even worse, some races that had remained neutral during the war had secretly started cooperating with the criminals.

Vikram rubbed his forehead.

This is getting worse faster than I expected.

Just as he was about to speak, a bright blue screen suddenly appeared before everyone's eyes.

The entire tent froze.

"A system notification?"

"I got it too!"

"What happened?"

Vikram looked at the floating screen.

Nobody spoke.

The last word seemed to suck all the air out of the room.

Death.

Death.

Arjun slowly looked around.

"Did everyone receive this?"

One by one, people nodded.

A cold feeling spread through the tent.

Then a deep voice suddenly broke the silence.

"A Constellation Notice Quest..."

Everyone turned.

Near the entrance stood a giant figure.

Many people hadn't even noticed when he entered.

The moment they saw him, several leaders frowned.

A Draconian.

A race that almost nobody liked.

A race known for its arrogance.

Standing over eight feet tall, the man looked like a creature from an ancient legend.

Dark scales covered parts of his body.

Two curved horns rose from his forehead.

His golden eyes resembled those of a dragon.

Behind him rested two enormous wings.

Even folded, they looked large enough to cover three grown men.

But his appearance wasn't what annoyed people.

It was his attitude.

Every movement.

Every glance.

Every word.

Everything about him screamed arrogance.

His name was Kael Drakar.

Leader of the Draconians.

Whenever he spoke to other races, he never lowered his head.

Not because he couldn't.

Because he simply didn't want to.

To him, humans, dwarves, and even elves were no different from insects.

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Several leaders looked annoyed.

Others looked openly angry.

But nobody started an argument.

The Draconians were powerful.

Very powerful.

And despite contributing almost nothing to the Alliance until now, nobody wanted trouble with them.

Kael slowly walked toward the table.

His golden eyes examined the notification.

Then he laughed.

A low, confident laugh.

"So the Creators have finally become interested."

Anaya frowned.

"Creators?"

Kael looked toward her.

Or more accurately...

He looked slightly above her head.

"Gods."

The room became silent again.

Vikram narrowed his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Kael folded his arms.

Unlike Earth, the Draconian world had known about this place for thousands of years.

According to their records, this world was known as the Battle World.

A giant battlefield.

A stage.

A place where the Creators of different worlds compared their creations.

A place where powerful beings observed countless races.

The strongest warriors.

The strongest talents.

The strongest bloodlines.

Everything was displayed here.

Like a competition.

Like entertainment.

For gods.

For Constellations.

The tent became completely silent.

For most races, especially humans, this information was shocking.

They had been dragged into this world without explanation.

Without warning.

Without choice.

Yet the Draconians had known.

A dwarf leader finally slammed his fist onto the table.

"You knew all this?"

Kael nodded.

"Yes."

"And you never told us?"

Kael shrugged.

"You never asked."

Rathore's jaw tightened.

Even Vikram felt irritated.

But Kael continued as if nothing had happened.

"If someone performs well, they can attract the attention of a Constellation."

"Constellations are survivors from previous rounds."

"Champions."

"Legends."

"Those who climbed beyond mortality."

A beastkin leader frowned.

"And what happens if one notices you?"

Kael answered immediately.

"They can sponsor you."

"What does that mean?"

"Bloodlines. Skills. Resources. Knowledge. Blessings."

The room became quiet.

Those rewards sounded unbelievable.

Then Kael added another piece of information.

"When entering the Battle World, everyone loses their previous strength and starts over."

That explained many things.

Several leaders exchanged looks.

Elf Leader asked, "If your race knew all of this... why did you come here?"

For the first time, a trace of emotion appeared in Kael's eyes.

Not pride.

Not arrogance.

Determination.

"Our Prophet received a prophecy."

Everyone listened carefully.

Kael continued.

"If I want to evolve my bloodline."

"If I want the attention of a Pure-Blood Dragon."

"I must defeat a Titan."

The room fell silent once more.

Even without understanding dragons, everyone knew that a Pure-Blood Dragon must be something terrifying.

Kael's voice remained calm.

"So I came here."

"To find my destiny."

The confidence in his voice was absolute.

As if failure didn't exist.

Then a dangerous smile appeared on his face.

"I believe one of them is the Titan I seek."

He placed both hands on the table.

The wood creaked under the pressure.

"Tell me where the criminals' camp is."

The atmosphere instantly turned cold.

This wasn't a request.

It was an order.

Several leaders looked furious.

But before anyone could respond—

The tent flap suddenly opened.

A scout rushed inside.

His face was pale.

His breathing was uneven.

"Commander!"

Everyone turned toward him.

Vikram stood up immediately.

"What happened?"

The scout swallowed.

"We received reports from the western forest."

"What reports?" Rathore asked.

The scout took a deep breath.

"A massive army is moving."

Everyone became alert.

"How large?" asked the dwarf leader.

"Thousands of monsters."

The room stiffened.

"So they finally made their move? Good. Let them come."

One of the orc leaders grinned and licked his tusks.

But the scout quickly shook his head.

"No."

The grin disappeared from the orc's face.

"What do you mean, no?"

The scout hesitated.

Then answered.

"They aren't moving toward us."

"They're moving away from the criminals' camp."

The dwarf leader frowned.

"Are you sure this isn't some kind of tricks?"

The scout nodded.

"We're not completely sure what's happening, but the situation inside the enemy camp seems strange."

He continued,

"Several scouts reported unusual activity."

"Many high-ranking criminals seem nervous."

"There are rumors that some important people have disappeared."

"Some groups are arguing among themselves."

"We think they're planning something."

The room became uneasy.

Something felt wrong.

Very wrong.

The scout suddenly hesitated again.

He looked around nervously.

Vikram immediately noticed.

"Speak."

The scout swallowed.

"We're not certain about this..."

He paused.

Then continued.

"But several scouts reported feeling something."

"What?"

The scout's face turned pale.

"A presence."

"Aura."

"A hunger."

The room became quiet.

The scout's voice trembled.

"It felt like something wanted to devour everything."

The moment those words left his mouth—

Everyone felt it.

A sudden pressure filled the room from Kael.

The Draconian leader's golden eyes had narrowed.

There was excitement.

And anger.

His wings twitched slightly.

The air around him grew heavier.

Several weaker leaders instinctively stepped back.

Kael slowly looked at the scout.

His voice was low.

Dangerously low.

"Tell me."

His golden eyes shone like molten gold.

"Where is their camp?"
