🐦🔥 [ Phoenix ☯ POV ] 🐦🔥
"OK, so what is my first mission after returning to our own dimension?" Phoenix asked while looking at the marble-sized planets floating around him and considering which one he would choose next. His eyes landed on a pretty purple one with blue swirls. 'Oh, now this planet should be a very pretty planet. I can already picture the flora and fauna now.' Phoenix thought to himself before turning his full attention to Solaris. This would be his first world after reaching the edge of home, not after total freedom, and it would also be the first mission world where Solaris's tasks were fully active.
To be honest, he was not sure how he felt about being asked to complete tasks again. He was not okay with being forced to do something he did not want to do, ever again. Out of everything he went through, having his right to make decisions taken away was the worst. The thought of ever going back to that gave rise to nightmares and paralysis demons.
As hard as it is to not run the other way, he knows he must trust Solaris. But does he trust Solaris enough to follow him blindly. Even with all the years of them being together he can say that yes, he does trust Solaris, but it would be stupid to blindly follow anyone. He will trust and follow Solaris, but he will keep his reservations and make sure he keeps his private thoughts tightly locked away because though he has reservations about this whole thing, he does not want to hurt Solaris.
He does not want to hurt him but, he cannot deny the nagging voice in the back of his mind calling him stupid, telling him he was a fool to trust anyone, and that Solaris is just another way to hurt him and break him in a way that he would never be able to recover from. He is not sure if that little voice is his instincts talking or his personal demons from his time in that living in that fucking hell hole.
Well, it is not like it matters much now as they have been together for the past 32+ thousand years. 'I will just let things be and look at this as a whole new start. I have been working my ass off to not just get stronger and gain soul power but to also conquer my demons. If I do not get over them then who ever kidnapped and imprisoned me will have won. I will have lost before I even started to get my revenge, and that absolutely cannot nor will not happen! I refuse to allow them to continue to hold power over me. But where do I start? Hmm, oh wait, I know. I will start but trying to make at least one close acquaintance in my first life and then maybe even a friend or two if I am lucky. It would be amazing if the host already has good people around it and it would be even better if it had a good loving family. But let's be real my luck is shit so that will most likely not be the case. Shit I "squirl'ed" again', damn what is wrong with me? Wait I wonder if Solaris can help me with my ADD? Hmmm, I will have to ask him about it but for now I really need to pay attention. l wish I was not like this; I hate it so much. He really deserves a better Mama then me...'
Phoenix's thoughts trailed off as he was overcome with mirid of emotions, but the strongest one was joy over being chosen by Solaris. Phoenix was truly honored that Solaris wanted a closer relationship because that is what Phoenix himself had secretly wanted for a long time now. Now that he knows how Solaris feels as well, he will work even harder to be the best he can be because Solaris deserves nothing less than his best.
Once again, he turned his attention back to Solaris as the little phoenix dragon continued to explain what to expect going forward. "As I explained, this is similar to what you have been doing. You will have to follow the host body's character settings and abilities, fulfill their life goal, and make sure to live a good life for them in return for them allowing you to have their body. You will also have to get revenge for them if there is a need for it. Not every world you go to will have a host that is happy and healthy, and not every mission will be a simple slice-of-life life. Most, if not all, of the hosts will have had tragic endings, which is why they would willingly allow you to take over their body."
Phoenix nodded his head as he listened to Solaris explain things. It was similar to what he had been doing since escaping the Jailer System's direct control, with the important exception that Solaris could now issue optional missions and rewards. Upon that thought, he looked at Solaris and asked about the missions.
To which Solaris replied, "There is nothing for Mama to worry about. They will help you gain/earn more soul power and will also come with perks if you complete them. There won't be any missions that would bring you harm at all and if you really do not want to do it, I will of course, not force you. In order for it to work you must willingly accept the mission and successfully complete it to get the rewards or rather gains from it."
"Ok, that sounds doable." He replied to Solaris, but a nagging voice kept telling Phoenix that there was more to it than what Solaris was telling him, but he will again give him the benefit of the doubt and at least see how this first world goes. So, with that Phoenix picked up the pretty purple and blue marble size planet, gently tossed it in the air where it grew to the size of a beach ball.
Phoenix looked at Solaris with a beautiful smile that was as dazzling as the cosmos, reached out his arms for his little phoenix dragon to jump into. Solaris flew straight into his Mama Phoenix' s arms and found that even he was excited for this first world. His Mama could not have chosen a better planet for his first world now that he is free. He could feel the anticipation bubbling up in him.
"Are you ready for this?" Phoenix asked Solaris who just nodded his head while smiling and with that Phoenix reached out the floating planet and disappeared.

As Phoenix slowly opened his eyes, he found himself lying on small bench in a pavilion on a small "island" in the center of a large man-made(artificial) pond. As he sat up, he took note of his surroundings and noticed he was in a stunning and immaculate garden. Lavender, baby's breath and lined surrounded the outer pavilion and lined the walkway leading the bridge on both sides. Phoenix could see Sandalwood, Cedar, Jasmine, Hydrangea, Roses, Monet Hyacinth and Clematis.
Bambo was used as a natural fence as well as to cover the sides of the buildings creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere that felt as if it belonged in the god's heavenly realm. All this came together, allowing one to forget that they were in an urban setting.
As if to say that this was not stunning and serene enough, there were fairy lights strung up strategically to mimic the night stars along with flowing gauze like fabric. and hanging potted orchids.
There were three well-manicured bonsai trees of varying sizes and types, but all were growing amongst the rock and sand gardens. Phoenix was drawn to one that resembled a Chinese Wisteria. The other two looked to be a Judus Tree and a Colorado Blue Spruce. 'They are so pretty, too bad they do not have a Pink Magnolia, that would be a beautiful crown for this masterpiece garden!' Phoenix thought to himself as he continued to devour his surroundings with his gluttonous eyes.
As if the intoxicating and relaxing scents all mixed together were not tranquil enough, there was waterfall that cascaded into the pond.
The pond was filled with koi, lotus flowers and lily pads making it look straight out of a painting. There was even a sitting area next to a rock garden and what looked to be an ancient bonsai tree with pink and lavender colored flowers.
Just a few steps away from the old bonsai was a beautiful and well-maintained shrine to the celestial Phoenix Constellation that was surrounded but trees with flowers that looked like white opal, pearl and white mother of pearl all rolled into one, it had silver seed pods that were the shape of stars with strange leaves that were the hue of Steel Blue. Phoenix had never seen anything like them before, but he could only liken the flowers to those of cherry blossoms though these seemed to be eternal rather than appearing and disappearing in just a week or two's time as they had in all the worlds he had been to.
Phoenix was truly in awe and left breathless by the sheer beauty of it all. 'Solaris are you sure we did not miss our turn at Albuquerque?' Phoenix knew it was a stupid question but still had to ask because he was truly in disbelief that this place could exist any were other than in the heavenly realm. Not that he knew what the gods' realm in the heavenly realm looks like since he had never been.
Solaris remained silent as he did not know how to answer without being rude because all he could think to reply was "Should I call you Buster Bunny for now on?" Solaris is a good little boy or rather a good little phoenix dragon, so he fought the urge to be cheeky. He did not think his Mama Phoenix would appreciate it very much; plus, he was pretty sure it was a rhetorical question anyways.
It is easy to infer that whoever designed this garden must have been going for a tranquil and relaxing garden. He peered into the pound to look at himself and was pleasantly surprised that he looked the same as he did in his "original" life, well his first life he has memory of, the one where he woke up to find The Jailor system had forcefully bound itself to him along with all his past memories as well as his own identity were not there.
Phoenix decided to check out the body's appearance to see what he was working with, by using the water from the pound like a mirror. As he gazed at his reflection, he felt very satisfied with the overall appearance.
This body has black hair, had blue undertones and resembled the night sky on a full moon night when in the light. His skin was a soft ivory with pink undertones and was free from any blemishes and scars. His high sharp cheek bones had a soft natural blush to them, giving him the appearance of always softly blushing, it truly was a captivating image.
As Phoenix continued to assess his new looks at the water's edge, he could not keep the smile from his jadelike face. His favorite feature has always been his eyes and this time it was no different. The body had doe-like upward turned almond shaped sapphire eyes. They are so deep they could be mistaken for black with flecks if silver in it with a few rays of amethyst streaked in them making them look like the vast galaxy.
The body also has a straight perky nose that goes perfectly with his chiseled cheekbones and jawline. In which ended with its pillow soft, heart-shaped pink lips. He was so beautiful it transcended gender leaving all to be mesmerized by his looks.
Phoenix was very satisfied with this body's facial features and overall. 'Now, I wonder what the rest of it looks like...'
