Rise had always known that it was difficult to fight the author. It was not just because of their ability to manipulate the world, but even more so because of the fact that they did not know how to 'fight' or 'kill' the author.
In a sense, their presence seemed intangible. They would not know what to target exactly. So, most of their plans were concentrated on destroying the plot or even eventually killing Epsilon, the so-called protagonist.
However, this truth that they managed to uncover was simply a blessing in disguise.
The author, or the world consciousness' sentient will, was still something they could barely contend. Yet, their situation somehow was not hopeless anymore.
Rise's smile widened, thinking of the feasibility of his plan. He had finally seen hope. Perhaps... They could win, after all.
The author... was not some intangible presence anymore. It had a form. And... Its real form was something they could deal with.
