Kicked from the gate of the Royal Capital, I was thrown out. In the pitch darkness I rolled as I was and struck the ground face-first. My face hit a puddle, and grains of sand stuck to it.
"Uwaa..."
The pain in my face and the pain in my stomach were terrible.
Bang! A sound came, and the surroundings turned into jet-black darkness. While the gate door had been open there had been some brightness from the light leaking out, but the moment the door was closed it became pitch dark and rain struck my body.
What should I do? Those guys said prey. That means there are people lying in wait for me, right? I have to run so I am not found by them. Is there somewhere to hide? Where should I go?
