When we go outside from the hall men and women were standing on both sides of the door. These would be the people in charge of guiding to rooms, but the woman is what! Sandy… Ann calls to the man with a practiced feel.
"A room please."
"Understood."
During this conversation Sandy is glaring at me. The face is scary. Silver eyes look as if they shoot me.
"I will guide you."
Sandy's tone is hard. And scary.
Sandy stands first and walks. After walking the corridor a while Sandy stops, opens the left door,
"Please use this."
she said smiling but her eyes not smiling.
"Thank you."
Ann takes my hand and tries to go in. Sandy has a face as if she wants to say something to me but keeps glaring with upturned eyes. Stop, those eyes. I seem ready to wilt.
When we enter the room behind a batan! large sound the door was shut.
"That maid seemed to have a feeling for Lord Robbie? A little pitiful. If she were not working, if Lord Robbie invited she would have fallen."
Ann says.
