Chapter 8 - Beyond The Ultimate Multiverse

There was silence. Devil Sharky did not speak.

Then he finally spoke in a chilling tone.

"You're asking what I'm doing here?" His voice was unreadable as he looked toward Professor Timex. He took a slow breath. "That's the wrong question."

With that, his alien, Energon-like form—which he called Demergon, shimmered and broke apart like smoke, revealing his true form. He looked nearly identical to Biotrix Sharky, Angry Sharky, and Sharky: the same features, the same height, the same build. But his eyes were bottomless black voids, like collapsing stars, and around him swirled a constant aura of interwoven black and purple energy.

Then his voice boomed like thunder.

"The right question is—WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL DOING… IN MY UNIVERSE?"

He walked toward them in slow steps. With each one, the space around him tore apart, yet he simply walked through it. In the blink of an eye, he was standing before them.

"Devil Sharky… I can explain," Professor Timex said carefully, raising both hands in a calming gesture.

"Explain," Devil Sharky replied in an eerily calm voice. At the same time, purple and black mana began swirling around his fingertips.

Timex exhaled. "Well… I'll explain," he began, carefully choosing his words, aware that even one wrong sentence could end in disaster. "Taltruant has been planning this for years, a plan to create his own Universe, a fabricated reality that he alone could control. He gathered relics, allies, and knowledge… all to forge the Chrono Throne."

Devil Sharky's eyes narrowed slightly. The mana swirling around his fingertips accelerated, gradually taking the shape of an orb.

Timex continued quickly. "We've been chasing him across dimensions, from collapsing timelines to alternate futures. But now he came here… to Universe 245. And to stop him, we had no choice. We followed him here, Sharky, Biotrix Sharky, Johnson, and even I." He paused briefly to glance toward the others. "We tried to stop him. But during the confrontation, the Universal Gem activated. Its power exploded beyond control, and… that's when you appeared."

Devil Sharky tilted his head slightly. The mana at his fingertips stopped swirling. It had taken the shape of an energy orb, which now floated above his fingers.

"So this puny being dared to destroy part of MY UNIVERSE?"

Devil Sharky's voice erupted like a thunderclap. His calm demeanor vanished for the first time as he turned his pitch-black eyes toward Taltruant. Taltruant took an instinctive step backward, his arrogant smirk faltered, he felt true fear.

"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Devil Sharky continued, stepping forward again. With each step, space warped beneath his feet. "This Universe is tethered to my essence. Its fabric, its gravity, its heartbeat… is mine."

He raised one hand, and the black-purple energy orb began expanding into a long, pole-like shape. The power of the Universal Gem he had just absorbed mixed with the orb.

"And you thought you could tear it apart? Bend it to your will?!" he growled.

Taltruant's lips trembled. He clenched his fists, trying to remain firm. "I—I did what I had to! I wanted to create something better! Something… perfect!"

Devil Sharky's laugh was cold and humorless. "Perfect?" he echoed, his tone filled with disdain. "If you wanted to create 'perfect,' you should have done it in your own domain."

He stepped forward again. The energy orb, now infused with the power of the Universal Gem, took the shape of a spear.

"But you chose my Universe. You dared to tamper with my laws, without my permission, without my approval." He extended his hand fully, and the spear hovering above his fingertips appeared in his grasp. "You trespassed into my territory. And now…" His voice was filled with anger. "You will pay the price."

He threw the spear toward Taltruant.

The spear of black and purple energy ripped through space. Taltruant's eyes widened.

"What you have don—"

He did not able to finish his sentence, when the spear struck him in the chest.

There was no explosion. No scream. Taltruant had no time to resist.

The spear didn't simply pierce Taltruant's body. It erased everything it touched, his body, his energy, and even the temporal signature that connected him to existence.

Taltruant had no time to resist, in the blink of an eye, he vanished completely. No dust. No shadow. Not even a trace of his existence remained.

The spear, after tearing through Taltruant and erasing him in an instant, did not immediately disappear. Its remaining energy continued forward, ripping through the fabric of the Universe before finally dissipating.

Before it vanished, it left a massive hole in the sky, through which distant Universes could be seen, flickering like reflections across a broken mirror.

And from those distant Universes, countless beings were watching.

Devil Sharky stood silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on the torn sky. Then, slowly, he turned toward the others.

The silence that followed was suffocating.

Professor Timex, Biotrix Sharky, and Sharky himself watched in stunned stillness. None of them moved. None of them spoke.

"So... what do I do with you guys?" Devil Sharky asked, his tone eerily calm.

Professor Timex took a cautious step forward, his mouth opening to speak, but the words refused to come.

"...Ahh... I..."

Even the brilliant Timekeeper of the Ultimate Multiverse found himself struggling to choose his words.

It wasn't because Timex had lost his intelligence or courage.

He simply understood the difference in power.

In front of Devil Sharky, even the Timekeeper of the Ultimate Multiverse was nothing. One wrong word, one wrong action, or one careless attempt to interfere could make him the next target.

And Timex knew that if Devil Sharky decided to erase him, he could do it as effortlessly as blowing out a candle.

Sharky swallowed his fear and stepped forward.

"I came here to stop Taltruant," he said. "Now that he's gone... we'll leave too."

His voice remained clear and steady, even though a sliver of fear coiled inside him. He refused to let it show.

Devil Sharky stared at him. For the first time, his black eyes flickered, a faint glimmer that was almost human.

Something about Sharky's eyes reminded him of his younger self, the child who had once watched his own family disappear.

Sharky had lost his parents. So had he. For a moment, Devil Sharky felt a quiet sympathy for him.

"...Alright," Devil Sharky finally said. "You can return to your Universe."

"Yes, yes! We'll leave right away!" Professor Timex said quickly.

He immediately grabbed the still-sleeping Angry Sharky and Angry Johnson. In the blink of an eye, he opened a portal and disappeared through it with both of them.

Biotrix Sharky gave Devil Sharky one last cautious look. Even after everything he had experienced, he still couldn't fully comprehend the power he had just witnessed.

Without saying a word, he opened a portal. He and Spanner stepped through and vanished.

Sharky lingered for a moment. He glanced at Devil Sharky and smiled slightly.

"You know... people call you 'Devil.' But I don't think you're so bad."

He gave him a casual wave.

"Anyway, goodbye."

With that, Sharky and Johnson disappeared through their own portal, leaving only ripples of light behind.

Devil Sharky watched them leave.

"...Still a carefree guy," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "I hope you always stay that way."

He watched the last portal disappear. His expression hardened once again as he turned toward the massive hole torn across the sky.

From beyond it, he could still feel countless beings watching, curious, bold, and tempted to enter. Other gods. Other threats.

His voice rose like a storm.

"NEVER COME INTO MY UNIVERSE!"

He raised his hand and hurled the remaining mana orb directly into the gap.

The orb struck the edges of the dimensional tear, releasing a powerful wave of black and purple energy. The massive hole began sealing shut, while the cracks spreading through space disappeared one after another.

The distorted sky slowly returned to normal.

As the final traces of the dimensional tear vanished, Universe 245 was restored to its original state, as though the damage had never occurred.

Silence returned.

Devil Sharky stood alone in the restored Universe, watching the sky.

He had erased a threat, driven away the outsiders, and protected his territory once again.

---

When Sharky and Johnson appeared outside Universe 245, they were ready to return to their own Universe.

Then a familiar voice echoed behind them.

"Wait," Professor Timex emerged from a golden shimmer.

"You've done good work, Sharky. You haven't let me down," he said, nodding with genuine respect. "However... we're not finished yet."

Sharky tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

Timex held out a small, flickering orb of data. Inside it, visible like veins in crystal, were cracks stretching across starfields.

"Taltruant's attacks and that final blast from Devil Sharky... they didn't just damage Universe 245. They fractured the fabric of space and time across multiple Universes. Some timelines are bleeding into others. Realities are beginning to warp. If we don't repair them, we could see collisions... or worse."

Johnson's shoulders sagged. "So... no rest yet, huh?"

Timex offered a tired smile. "You'll get some rest soon. But for now... I need your help."

Sharky looked at the orb, then back at Timex, and nodded without hesitation. "Alright. Let's fix it."

---

And so, they set off.

With Professor Timex guiding them, Sharky and Johnson journeyed through the rifts between worlds, patching collapsed dimensions, mending broken time loops, and sealing collapsing Universes before they fell into nonexistence.

They worked without rest. They restored balance.

Until finally, after what felt like an eternity outside of time, they arrived at the last rift.

Sharky placed his hand on the tear, and with a final surge of energy, the breach sealed, quietly and gently, as though the Multiverse itself were breathing again.

"It's done," Johnson whispered.

Timex smiled.

"Now... you can go home."

Sharky stepped through the portal one last time, feeling the pull of his own Universe drawing him back.

---

But unknown to them... the tear in the fabric of space and time had also created a hole outside the Ultimate Multiverse.

And from beyond it... someone had been watching this Multiverse.

The biggest creature was seen outside the Ultimate Multiverse. This creature was even larger than Sharky's Ultimate Way Big.

It was a creature that looked like a snake, but it was slightly different from an ordinary snake. It had two enormous wings attached to its body, along with six claws.

Two large mustaches extended from its face, and they were almost as large as the creature itself. It was so enormous that the entire Earth could easily fit inside one of its claws.

It was a Dragon, the Red Dragon. Flames almost spewed from its mouth.

The Red Dragon leaned closer to the Ultimate Multiverse and began sniffing the air.

"There is also no trace of her presence," he said to himself.

His expression turned angry, but then tears began falling from his eyes.

"Where has she gone? Where have her clans sent her?" the Dragon asked.

One moment, he was laughing, and the next, he began crying before suddenly becoming angry.

His expression changed almost constantly.

Then he flew away from the Ultimate Multiverse toward another place in search of something.

But after a few minutes, the Dragon vanished from the area.

A creature who looked like a human then appeared there.

He was enormous in size, and four of his teeth were much longer than the others.

He looked toward the Ultimate Multiverse with an interested gaze.

"How can this place have remained untouched until now? Maybe there will be some food for me."

The man licked his lips. When he opened his mouth, his four enormous teeth became visible, with blood dripping from them.

He was a Vampire God, and human blood was his favorite feast.

"Let's go and see how much food there is for me," he said, preparing to move forward.

But before he could take another step, some other beings appeared there.

"You can't enter there," one of them said.

He looked like a white, goat-like being, with a black-colored plate attached to his body.

"Yes, and even if you think about entering, no one can save you from me," another being replied.

He had eight beautiful wings attached to his body.

"Why can't we enter there? There isn't any savior of this Universe," one of the beings asked.

He looked like a human, but he was a dead human, a Zombie God.

"Don't fight, guys. I think you've forgotten that this is the Universe of the Celestialsapiens. And most importantly, Sharky 1000 lives there," a girl said.

She had beautiful butterfly wings and was so beautiful that even a dead person would want to become alive just to see her.

"You mean this is the Universe of Sharky 1000?" the Zombie God asked in shock.

Not only he, but several of the others were also shocked because they had witnessed Sharky 1000's powers themselves.

They had seen him destroy an entire Universe.

Although it had been only a small part of a Multiverse, it was still enough to shock them.

Many other beings also came to see the Ultimate Multiverse, but after learning that it was the Multiverse where Sharky 1000 resided, all of them returned to their own destinations.

But it remained unknown how much trouble this would bring in the future.

Well, that was a mystery for the unknown future.
