Finally, there were two substitute players: one was called "Peter Pan," known for his precise passing, and the other, "Tietou Gong," specialized in powerful headers.
The Masters team believed they had assembled the best amateur players in the city and were confident they could defeat Chelsea's professional lineup.
They collectively issued a formal challenge letter to Chelsea.
The letter read:
"Chelsea players, listen up! Our Masters Team challenges you to a fair match in three days. We aim to prove that amateurs are not inferior to professionals. Do you dare face us?"
When the news broke, the Chelsea players burst into laughter.
But Captain Su Luo told everyone not to mock the Masters' confidence.
"Every challenge deserves respect," he said. "We will accept their invitation and play a friendly match. Football is a sport for everyone, and we should respect amateur players."
Thus, both sides agreed to play the friendly match three days later. Chelsea would field their main lineup. The match drew attention from fans and the media alike.
On game day, the Masters Team arrived early to warm up, full of confidence. Chelsea's players also prepared in a relaxed but professional manner.
Chelsea players entered the field with amused expressions.
"'Masters,' huh? Sounds entertaining," Lukaku chuckled.
"We'd better be careful. This 'strong team' might surprise us!" Hazard joked.
As they began stretching, the Masters Team stepped onto the pitch.
"Chelsea players, listen up! Today, we're going to teach you what real football looks like!" declared Captain Dalong proudly.
"Your little tricks are nothing compared to us!" added General Thunder.
"You're full of energy. Let's see how it plays out!" Su Luo responded with a smile.
The game kicked off, with the Masters Team taking the first possession.
But within the first ten seconds, Azpilicueta outmaneuvered Lord of the Wind and stole the ball.
"What just happened?" Lord of the Wind gasped in disbelief.
"Get back! Defend!" shouted Dalong.
But it was already too late. Lukaku drove forward, sprinted across half the field, passed his marker, and fired a clean shot into the net.
Goal!
"That was way too fast!" the Masters players exclaimed in shock.
"1–0, nice work!" Su Luo smiled and high-fived Lukaku.
From that moment, it became a one-sided game.
Su Luo weaved through defenders effortlessly. Neymar's dazzling footwork left the Masters team scrambling to keep up.
"This is insane. We can't stop them at all!" cried Steady Man.
By the end of the first half, the score was already 8–0. The Masters Team was completely overrun.
"We… may have underestimated the professionals," Dalong admitted at halftime.
"Don't give up—let's keep going!" Iron Man shouted.
But Chelsea's onslaught continued relentlessly.
The Masters Team couldn't even organize a proper counterattack.
When the final whistle blew, the score was 20–0. The Masters players were speechless, their confidence shattered.
"We're sorry… we were too arrogant," Dalong said, bowing slightly to Su Luo.
"It was a pleasure competing with you," Su Luo replied with a smile.
This match taught the Masters Team the true level of professional football and showed them how much room they had to grow.
Su Luo's grace and sportsmanship earned their respect.
That is the spirit of football.
Now, as the new Premier League season approaches, Chelsea, as defending champions, must face even greater pressure.
