In the blink of an eye, the Champions League final had arrived. Chelsea would face the equally strong La Liga giants, Real Madrid.
The final was held at Wembley Stadium in London. Nearly 80,000 Chelsea fans gathered to cheer for their team.
"We will definitely win!" the fans shouted passionately, waving banners high.
Everyone at Chelsea was excited. They had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
"For the honor of the Blues, we will fight until the last minute!" Captain Su Luo delivered an impassioned speech in the locker room.
"Chelsea!" everyone roared in unison.
The referee blew the whistle — the battle for the Champions League title had officially begun.
From the very beginning, Real Madrid launched a ferocious attack.
Cristiano Ronaldo skipped past two defenders and broke into the box, but Azpilicueta flew in with a timely sliding tackle.
"Focus on defense!" Conte shouted from the sidelines.
Real Madrid's offensive waves came one after another, forcing Chelsea's backline to hold the line under intense pressure.
In the 15th minute, during a quick counterattack, Gareth Bale passed to Benzema, whose shot was brilliantly saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois.
Real Madrid's frontline was relentless. Chelsea needed to find a way to respond.
In the 20th minute, Su Luo intercepted the ball in midfield. After quickly assessing the situation, he didn't rush a pass but chose to advance with the ball himself.
With a clever feint, he skipped past a defender and delivered a perfect through ball to Hazard on the right.
Hazard cut inside and curled a shot at goal. The ball flew in at a tricky angle — goal! Chelsea led 1–0!
"Beautiful goal!" Head coach Conte punched the air in celebration.
With the lead in hand, Chelsea pressed even harder, hoping to extend their advantage.
But Real Madrid quickly reorganized and counterattacked — their strength was undeniable.
By the end of the first half, the score was level at 1–1.
In the second half, both teams fought tooth and nail.
In the 55th minute, during a corner kick, Neymar rose high but headed just wide of the post.
Real Madrid also won several corners, putting Chelsea's defense under pressure.
In the 60th minute, Ronaldo broke away from his marker, danced past Courtois, and tapped the ball into an empty net.
Real Madrid now led 2–1!
"Damn it!" Conte slammed his hand down in frustration.
Realizing the urgency, Conte brought on veteran striker Didier Drogba to bolster the attack.
Drogba immediately energized the frontline, sending in two dangerous crosses.
In the 75th minute, Chelsea launched a lightning-fast counterattack. Drogba picked out an unmarked Su Luo, who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner — goal! Chelsea had equalized 2–2!
"Let's go!" The fans erupted in joy, chanting for Su Luo.
Real Madrid continued to press, but the score remained level.
As the match entered its final phase, both teams fought fiercely for the winning goal.
In the 88th minute, Neymar made a brilliant run down the left flank, dribbling past two defenders before cutting the ball across the box to a trailing Xavi.
Xavi took the shot first-time — the ball rocketed into the net!
Chelsea 3–2 Real Madrid!
"It's in! It's in!" the commentator screamed.
The stadium exploded into wild cheers as fans celebrated the goal.
"Chelsea are ahead! Come on! Hold the lead!" the supporters cried, waving giant blue flags with pride.
