Cheng Xiao paid no attention and took the cup from the waiter's hand. She drank it in one go, everyone kept toasting drinks, so when the waiter brought the drink, she just accepted the cup.
After ten seconds after drinking the drink, she started to feel dizzy. She stood up and stumbled a little bit.
"I am going to the washroom, I'll be back." She said to the table.
"Do you want us to come with you?" Su Li asked standing up.
"No, I will be right back." Cheng Xiao said placing her hand on Su Li's shoulder and pushed her back down.
"Enjoy, I will be quick." Cheng Xiao said.
Xu Kai watched her as she stumbled and stood up but Cheng Xiao shook her head. Even though she was drunk, she knew that if he were to come to her now, then by Monday when they went back to work rumors would be everywhere.
Xu Kai sat back down and just decided to wait since she said that she won't take time. Other people in their drunken state found the courage and came to toast with Xu Kai thanking him for the wonderful vacation and that once they were back in the office, they won't mind working overtime.
This was the first time they had gone for a vacation, normally it would be team building activities but this time he just told to do what they wanted and enjoy themselves. How else was he going to spend time with Cheng Xiao with all these people around. There was no way for them to come alone without people getting suspicious, so the only way was to give everyone a vacation.
Cheng Xiao walked past the door and started to feel dizzy, she had to grab the wall for support. Now she knew something was wrong, in her entire life no matter how much she drank she never gotten to this state where she would not even be able to make clear of where she was heading.
"Miss let me help you to your room." The waiter came taking her arm.
"Don't touch me." Cheng Xiao said and yanked his hands off.
"Stop struggling and let me help you to your room." He said coming and this time used more force.
"Leave me alone." She tried pushing him off but with the drug in her system she was no match for him.
He used force and started drag her. Now Cheng Xiao's mind went into panic, there was no way a hotel staff would behave like this with the guest. The waiter reached a room and used a keycard to open, once the door opened, he pushed her inside.
