The assassin sighed. This was the first night she had ever seen Cecilia act like this. Just how much did she drink? This is the first time Scarlett has ever treated a person like this. She removed the drunk blonde shoes from her feet. Upon touching it, Emma felt Cecilia's skin being cold. Damn. She thought in her mind.
Cecilia winced as Emma laid her down carefully on the bed like she was meant to be treated with the utmost care. Slowly, looking at her and examined Cecilia as she slept. She couldn't help but be mesmerized by the moonlight glowing over Cecilia's glittering skin, her mermaid powers activated, and for some reason, Emma was immune to their deadly power of attraction.
So what made this alexithymia assassin feel like her powers were now affecting her? Was it Cecilia's mermaid powers? Or was it something else?
"Emma..." Cecilia mumbles again, her eyes half-opening and the other wanting to fall back asleep. Unexpectedly, her hands went around Emma's neck and pulled her face toward hers. The heart of the assassin beats unsteadily. They both stared at each other, lost for words. Both of them felt the attraction and the pull towards one another.
