Here is the revised version of your extended chapter. I applied the same polish to the first half that we worked on previously, and I heavily edited the new paragraphs at the end to fix the grammatical errors, improve the pacing of the time skip, and make the parents' struggle feel more impactful.
But in the middle of the night, while everyone was sleeping, a meteor flashed like a beam of light directly into baby William's body.
Suddenly, the baby saw a screen displaying a series of messages:

A second later, the screen vanished as the system went into hibernation.
Immediately, the baby started to cry loudly.
"Waaaa! Waaaa!"
The sudden wailing jolted both Aryan and Selena from their sleep. Selena quickly picked up the child and hugged him tightly, trying to soothe him, but he wouldn't stop crying.
She looked at Aryan, her voice full of worry. "Should we take him to the Healer?"
"I was thinking the exact same thing," Aryan replied, already getting out of bed. "Let's go."
Together, they rushed out into the night with the baby.
The Healer's name was Alina. She was an older woman who lived right in the middle of the village. Wealthy but kind-hearted, she resided in a large mansion with two bodyguards stationed outside for her safety.
The guards had been dozing just before the meteor struck, which was why they hadn't noticed the flash of light. However, the baby's piercing cries immediately snapped them awake. Seeing Aryan and Selena rapidly approaching with a screaming infant, the guards instantly understood the emergency.
One guard hurried inside to inform a maid, who quickly relayed the situation to Alina.
A few minutes later, the maid stepped out of the mansion. "The master is waiting. Please come in."
As soon as they entered the mansion, Alina instructed them to sit down. She wasted no time, immediately casting the spell [Soothe Heal]. It was an advanced spell that healed the target's body from the inside out.
Ten minutes later, the exhausted baby finally stopped crying and fell into a deep sleep. However, Alina didn't dispel her magic. Sensing something strange, she kept the spell active and asked, "What happened to him?"
"Everything was fine until the middle of the night," Selena explained anxiously. "He suddenly started crying. I was so scared that I told Aryan we needed to come to your home immediately."
Panic began to flood Selena's mind. "Did you find something odd? Why are you still channeling the spell? Is he sick? Is there something wrong with my baby?" She had wanted to ask Aryan these questions on the way over, but William's loud cries had drowned out any chance to think. Now that he was comfortably sleeping, her questions poured out all at once.
"I am not sure if he is entirely fine, Selena," Alina replied gravely. "His body is constantly absorbing ambient mana from the outside. Because his physical vessel is still so fragile, the influx of energy is causing him immense pain."
Selena looked at Aryan, too terrified to ask anything else. Stepping in, Aryan asked, "Is there a way to solve this problem?"
"There is," Alina said. "You will need to manually feed your own mana into his body whenever you feel his core draining."
Selena and Aryan looked down at their sleeping child. "Is there really no other way?" Aryan asked.
"I don't know of one. But you must constantly feed him mana until he is at least five years old."
Aryan frowned. "Until he's five? Because that is when every child awakens their talent and begins either mana or body cultivation?"
Alina shook her head. "No."
"I am telling you to feed him mana because it will take five years just to stabilize his condition. After that, when his talent awakens, you must force him to train in both body and mana cultivation at the same time."
"Why would you suggest dual cultivation? You know it's taboo!" Aryan protested. "If he trains both his mana and his physical body simultaneously, he will be stuck at the 9th Mortal Stage until he dies. He'll live a hundred years at most."
"We have no other choice," Alina countered, her voice calm but firm. "His core is constantly absorbing mana. If you do not strengthen his physical body after his fifth year, his fragile form will deteriorate and he will eventually die, crushed under the overwhelming pressure of his own energy."
A heavy silence fell over the room.
After a few minutes of stifling quiet, Selena finally spoke, tears pooling in her eyes. "So... he will die before us?" She looked utterly devastated, as if her entire world had just shattered.
Alina remained silent. There were no words of comfort she could offer.
Aryan, however, squeezed Selena's hand tightly. "We still have time," he said, his voice firm with resolve. "We will find a way to fix this, no matter how hard it is."
With nothing left to say, Aryan paid Alina one silver coin for her services, and together with his wife, he left the mansion.
Selena wanted nothing more than to break down and cry, but she held back her tears for the sake of the sleeping baby in her arms.
Once they reached home, they placed William gently on the bed and began the grueling process. Every single hour, they took turns feeding their own mana into his fragile body.
This exhausting cycle continued relentlessly until William turned six months old. Gradually, his physical form stabilized enough that the required feeding intervals extended to two hours.
By his first birthday, the gap widened to four hours.
When he turned two, he only needed their mana every eight hours.
By the time he was four years and eleven months old—just one month shy of his fifth birthday—he only required one mana infusion per day. Aryan and Selena noticed that William was still passively absorbing ambient mana from the air. However, they didn't pry into where this excess energy was going, assuming it was simply the reason his body could last longer between their manual feedings.
They had no idea it was being quietly siphoned away, slowly feeding something deep within his soul.
