For a very long time, Coryl had felt that she was different from others. Even among demonic beasts, she was undoubtedly an extreme rarity, perhaps even an anomaly.
Having spent thousands of years as an observer, she noticed that for almost every other animal species, at least two or more individuals would eventually succeed in becoming demonic beasts.
Only she remained alone. No other coral polyps had ever successfully evolved into a demonic beast like her, even though she had created the best possible ecosystem for them to thrive in. Instead, it was other species of demonic beasts that flourished within the environment she had built.
Why was this? Why wouldn't another coral polyp evolve the same way she had?
When her bloodline power granted her the ability to transform into any being she had previously consumed, she immediately chose to become a beautiful female human without hesitation. She did not even bother trying other species first.
It was then that she realized she had probably wanted to be human for the longest time.
She could have built her coral city deep within the ocean, but she deliberately chose to construct it near the shore so that humans could reach it more easily.
What did it truly mean to be human? Coryl did not yet have the answer. But she believed that as long as she continued to mingle with the humans she liked and learned to live like them, one day she would find it.
She did not mind if it took a very long time. After all, patience was her greatest strength. Reefworld Lagoon itself was the greatest proof of her enduring patience.
Throughout the years, the humans she liked the most were Leyvi and his companions. Because of them, she had decided to leave her comfort zone after so many centuries. The more she observed and interacted with humans during her journey, the stronger her desire grew to become one of them.
In her pursuit to live as a human, she tried to learn and experience as many things as possible. So far, everything had been incredibly fun and fulfilling. It made her want to try even more human activities.
She had done and experienced so many things in just a few short years of living among humans compared to the thousands of years she had spent before. The difference was astronomical. There was no way she could ever go back to living alone as she had in the past.
While Coryl was lost in her deep thoughts, Cora arrived at the balcony with Leyvi following behind him.
"Lady Coryl, Lord Leyvi has come to visit you," Cora announced respectfully.
Coryl turned around elegantly, a soft smile forming on her face. "Thank you, Cora. Please leave us alone for now."
"Yes, my lady." Cora bowed and left, already thinking about how to prepare the recruitment advertisement.
"Lady Coryl. How has your life here been? Are you enjoying it?" Leyvi started the conversation with a wide, friendly smile as he walked over to the railing.
"It has been very enjoyable," Coryl replied warmly. "I feel like I want to stay here for thousands of years."
Leyvi blinked in surprise. Thousands of years? That was practically the same as wanting to stay here permanently.
He did not even know whether the Leyan Family would remain in this place for that long.
"Feel free to stay here as long as you want," Leyvi said warmly. "The ladies all love having you around."
"Only the ladies?" Coryl asked, tilting her head slightly with a probing smile. "What about you?"
"Me? Of course I'm happy you're here," Leyvi replied smoothly, dodging the deeper implication. "You've been a great help to my family. I truly appreciate it."
Coryl smiled softly. "I want to be human. Can you help me?"
"Eh? You want to be human?" Leyvi was caught completely off guard. He had never expected to hear something like this.
"Yes. That's what I realized," Coryl nodded. "That's why I'm here."
"But… you're already in a human form," Leyvi said, tilting his head in confusion.
"That's not enough," Coryl shook her head gently. "Having a human form isn't enough. I don't think I'm quite human yet. That's why I need your help."
"How can I help?" Leyvi asked, still puzzled.
"Simple," Coryl said honestly, looking straight into his eyes. "Make me pregnant."
Leyvi was dumbfounded. This… Anda was right. She really is after my body.
"I learned that a woman's greatest joy is to have a child of her own," Coryl continued. "So I figured that if I have a human child, that should be concrete proof that I am a human. Will you help me?"
"Lady Coryl… I… uhh. You're not joking, right?" Leyvi was unsure how to respond.
Although she looked perfectly human, he was well aware that she was a demonic beast. If it was just hanging around and getting along together, he had no problem at all. But having sex and making her pregnant... that was a big psychological barrier to overcome.
He was someone with many wives now and had grown used to it. He was in a position where marrying more women would not bother him anymore. But this was an entirely different situation.
"Please don't feel burdened by my request," Coryl said gently. "You don't have to give me an answer right away. I don't mind waiting. I told you I'm going to stay here for a long time, didn't I?" She smiled radiantly.
Leyvi sighed inwardly. He realized she was completely serious.
"Does it have to be me?" he asked.
"It can only be you," she replied, her eyes clear and full of certainty.
There was a brief silence between them before Leyvi spoke again. "You can wait, but there's no guarantee that I will agree. Don't expect too much."
"That is fine," Coryl nodded. "I'm willing to wait. I'm very good at being patient, you know."
Afterward, the two of them talked about other lighter topics for a while before Leyvi took his leave.
He went to play with Leylin again for some time, then sought out Anda and told her everything that had happened with Coryl.
But what exactly had he expected from Anda? The moment she heard the story, she immediately supported the idea.
In fact, she even suggested that he return to the Coral Mansion and accept Coryl's proposal right away. Leyvi could only rub his forehead helplessly.
Afterward, he brought up another matter. He told Anda about the newly appeared Sleep Talent and the additional 100% Guarantee Chance benefit.
Then he suggested using it to ensure her pregnancy. To his surprise, Anda became unusually emotional. She remained silent for a while before shaking her head.
"No."
Leyvi blinked. "No?"
Anda looked directly into his eyes. "I would rather remain childless than use that benefit for this."
Her voice was calm, but there was unmistakable determination behind it.
"This is one thing I want to happen naturally."
Leyvi stared at her for a moment before smiling gently. "Alright."
He respected her decision completely. The topic ended there.
That night, Leyvi worked even harder than usual, trying his best to grant her wish.
The next day came, and the Leyan Family once again prepared to travel.
This time, they would be heading much farther than usual. The journey would take over two months.
Like before, Layla and Fantylia would be staying in Bara City, with Layla sending only her clone. However, this time Coryl would also remain behind.
Layla's various projects were still ongoing throughout the Bara Region, and she needed Coryl's protection and assistance to carry out her plans.

A week later, the Universe Airship reached Holy Cat City to pick up Caterina.
When Leyvi arrived at her mansion, he was surprised by how big her belly had grown compared to Hana's at the same stage.
"Hehehe. Unexpected?" Caterina giggled, clearly enjoying his reaction. "They're twins. Both girls!"
Leyvi was dumbfounded. Not only had he managed to get her pregnant after just a few tries, but it was twins? What incredible luck. Even Nala with her Luck talent was not this fortunate.
"Hahaha! Twins are even better," Leyvi laughed happily.
He summoned a comfortable carriage and went to Caterina's side, supporting her carefully as he helped her into it.
A beautiful white cat also followed them into the carriage. Ever since Caterina's pregnancy, Luna had been watching over her safety at all times, never slacking off. Even Caterina was surprised by this. Usually Luna was always lazy, sleeping most of the time.
"Sheila. I'm counting on you," Caterina said as she lowered the carriage window, speaking to her stoic secretary.
Sheila nodded, her eyes glancing at Leyvi for a brief second.
After that, the carriage headed toward the city gate where the Universe Airship was waiting.
Inside the carriage, Caterina affectionately hugged Leyvi's arm. It was obvious how much she loved her young husband.
"Did you notice Sheila's glance just now?" Caterina asked, her smile turning mischievous.
Leyvi had a bad feeling about this, but he still nodded.
"She has been lusting after you," Caterina revealed with a giggle. "She wants you to impregnate her. Hehe."
Again? Leyvi smiled wryly.
Why did every woman suddenly want his seed now? His "Sex Fiend" title should have made women stay away from him, not desire him even more. This didn't make any sense.
