During the day, after Leyvi received the news that the Holy Son had left Medicine Valley, he waited patiently until it was completely dark before he and Anda secretly left Holy Cat City.
With the Universe Airship, the journey that would normally take several days by ordinary means only took them a few hours. Of course, the airship was fully capable of catching up to the Holy Son's vessel in mere seconds. However, doing so at full speed would create far too much commotion and destruction, so they chose a more measured approach.
The speed Leyvi used to chase after the Holy Son was the maximum limit the Universe Airship could maintain while remaining completely stealthy and undetectable.
When Leyvi first learned about this capability from Alita, he could not help but feel utterly amazed. Even when holding back its full travel power to stay hidden, the airship was still unbelievably faster than any other vessel ever produced in this world. It made him seriously wonder just how advanced the technology at the Galactic Center truly was.
According to Alita, the Universe Airship was originally designed for traveling through outer space. Because of this, aside from its exceptional durability to withstand all kinds of cosmic hazards, most of its engineering focused on mobility and speed. It lacked significant battle capabilities.
She had also explained to Leyvi that inside the Universe Airship, it would be difficult for her to suppress powerhouses at the Soul Transformation Realm and above. However, dealing with Soul Formation Realm cultivators and below would not be a problem at all.
Apparently, this was because cultivators at the Soul Transformation Realm had begun transforming their souls into a Dao entity known as the Dao Soul. This process allowed them to become more attuned to the Dao itself.
The Dao was essentially the fundamental principle, source, and underlying pattern of the universe. It represented the natural, spontaneous, and eternal order that governed all existence.
To step into the Soul Transformation Realm, a cultivator first needed to make contact with any one of the countless branches of the Dao and comprehend its most basic concept, or at least learn how to wield a portion of its power.
Take Anda for example. Since she had already attained the Fire Concept through enlightenment, once she reached the peak of the Soul Formation Realm, she could attempt to break through to the Soul Transformation Realm directly. This put her at a great advantage compared to many other cultivators who remained stuck at the peak of the Soul Formation Realm for years, or even decades, simply because they had never made contact with the Dao.
Even Leyvi's soon-to-be wife, City Lord Caterina, had been stuck at the peak of the Soul Formation Realm for quite some time, unable to progress further for the same reason.
In her current state, Alita lacked the ability to fully suppress those who could already draw upon the power of the Dao. That was why she could easily handle Soul Formation Realm cultivators, but struggled against those at Soul Transformation Realm and above.
That being said, even if she could not personally suppress a Soul Transformation Realm cultivator, she could still destroy their physical body by ramming them with the Universe Airship, severely injuring them in the process.
After all, cultivators in this realm still did not possess the ability to quickly recreate their physical bodies like those at the Dao Manifestation Realm could.
In other words, as long as Leyvi's enemies were at the Soul Formation Realm or below, he could now capture them with Alita's help and do with them as he pleased. Not to mention, he still had Senior Lapin as another powerful layer of protection.
Just as Leyvi had said before, even though his own cultivation realm was still relatively low, he already possessed the necessary cards to deal with his enemies effectively. With Lapin's incredible long-distance surveillance and communication abilities, combined with the Universe Airship's unmatched speed and stealth, he could now ambush almost anyone across the continent if he wanted to.
From now on, he would no longer remain passive toward those who targeted the Leyan Family with malicious intent. He would take the initiative and eliminate the threats himself.
Today, this Holy Son, a man he had never even met, would become the first enemy he dealt with using this new approach.
After successfully capturing the Holy Son and his Alchemic Knights inside the white room, Leyvi confirmed with Alita that their powers had been completely suppressed. Neither the Holy Son nor his subordinates could pose any threat to him or Anda in this space.
The first thing Leyvi did after arriving was to imitate exactly how these villains had acted earlier.
Unfortunately, he still could not imbue his voice with soul power yet. That would have made the imitation even more impressive.
"OI BRAT! COME OUT NOW!" Leyvi shouted loudly, perfectly copying the tone and arrogance of the original threat.
Anda stood beside him, desperately trying to hold back her laughter.
Meanwhile, inside the luxurious cabin of the airship, the Holy Son stood frozen in absolute shock. He could not comprehend what was happening. His eyes darted toward Elder Todd, only to see the usually composed Soul Formation Realm cultivator looking utterly terrified.
But why? Why are you so afraid? You are a Soul Formation Realm powerhouse! They are just two weak Core Formation Realm ants!
"Elder Todd!" the Holy Son shouted frantically. "Do something! Catch them right now! No! Catch Anda and kill that bastard who tainted her!"
Elder Todd looked at his Young Master with a bitter, defeated smile. After a long moment, he finally spoke.
"Young Master… I have advised you again and again to stop these dangerous activities," he said quietly. "I warned you because I was afraid something like this would happen. Now that it has… it is already too late. We are doomed."
"What nonsense are you spouting?!" the Holy Son roared, his face twisting with rage. "You are a Soul Formation Realm Alchemic Knight! Just go out there and do it! Are you defying my orders? A dog should obey its master!"
His yelling grew louder and more frantic with every word.
Elder Todd let out a deep, weary sigh. He felt immense disappointment in his heart. He had chosen to follow this young man since childhood because he believed he had the potential to become a truly great figure on the continent. Yet it turned out he had only been serving another arrogant, foolish person who was blinded by his own talent and power.
How could his Young Master still not see the reality of their situation?
Their airship was equipped with multiple layers of defensive arrays and detection formations, all designed to alert them to any danger. Yet they had been captured without the slightest warning. The fact that Leyvi and Anda dared to confront them so openly and fearlessly showed that the enemy held complete control over the situation.
The Holy Son had become so drunk on power and status that he could no longer see what was right in front of him.
No matter how many times Elder Todd had tried to guide him onto the right path, the young man kept straying further and further into corruption.
It could not be helped. Even the Alchemy Dominator Sect itself engaged in many shady activities behind the scenes. They definitely knew what the Holy Son was doing, yet they chose to turn a blind eye. Only those who walked the same dark path would tolerate such behavior. Or perhaps, they were even actively helping him cover up his crimes.
At the end of the day, Elder Todd was merely an Alchemic Knight who had sworn an oath of absolute obedience and loyalty. His own hands were far from clean.
Elder Todd remained silent in the face of the Holy Son's furious shouting. With a heavy heart filled with regret, he turned and walked toward the exit door to carry out his order.
"Oh? Someone is coming out. Is that the Holy Son?" Anda asked curiously.
Leyvi shook his head. "No. The Holy Son is still hiding inside."
The moment Elder Todd stepped out of the airship, he immediately dashed toward Leyvi and Anda. However, just as he had feared, he could not summon even the slightest trace of Qi or soul power. He tried to retrieve a weapon from his space ring, but that failed as well. All of his cultivation power had been completely suppressed.
Left with no other choice, he could only rely on his physical body to attack.
Qi cultivators, despite having strengthened bodies as their cultivation advanced, were still far from strong enough to fight body cultivators using pure physical strength alone. Without Qi to protect and empower them, they were essentially defenseless in close combat.
Moreover, Elder Todd was not proficient in hand-to-hand fighting. His movements were slow and sluggish.
Leyvi dashed forward to meet him. He did not even bother dodging the incoming slow punch. Instead, he launched a powerful knee strike straight into Elder Todd's chest.
Crack!
The sound of breaking bones echoed clearly. Leyvi's knee blow was devastatingly heavy. It shattered multiple ribs and sent Elder Todd flying backward, crashing hard into the side of the airship. After just one attack, Elder Todd's body could no longer move.
After the recent training sessions with Mr. Bison, Leyvi's physical body had grown significantly stronger. He could probably deal with most high-level demonic beasts using only his bare hands now. If he fought that Commander Level Demonic Jaguar again, it would no longer be able to bite through his body so easily.
Leyvi did not waste any time. He charged toward the fallen Elder Todd once more. Terrifying fiery Qi rapidly gathered around his fist, burning brightly with intense power.
"Big Bang."
BOOM!
A massive explosion erupted, shaking the entire airship. However, the blast was not strong enough to damage the vessel. Leyvi had controlled his power carefully. After all, this was a high-quality airship that the Leyan Family could use in the future.
As for the Alchemic Knight who could no longer use his Qi to protect himself, the result was devastating. Leyvi's attack completely obliterated his physical body. All that remained of Elder Todd was a weak, trembling soul hovering above the floor.
Elder Todd was filled with terror. Without a physical body, he had become even weaker. On top of that, he still could not use any of his Qi or soul power in this strange white space.
However, there was still one final desperate move he could make. The only advantage left to him in his current form.
Body possession!
Core Formation Realm cultivators normally could not defend against spiritual entities yet. This was his last gamble!
Elder Todd's soul shot forward like a streak of light, charging straight toward Leyvi's glabella with the intention of invading his Sea of Consciousness.
But just as he was about to succeed, his charge was abruptly stopped. Something invisible had grabbed him firmly.
What…? He immediately recognized this power.
Spiritual Touch! And it felt terrifyingly strong. It felt as though Leyvi could crush his soul into nothingness at any moment. Elder Todd himself could use Spiritual Touch, but only to grab small, light objects. This level of power and control was on a completely different scale.
How was this possible?
Young Master… just what kind of monster have you provoked?
