"Back already?" Callum asked staring at the pair that just entered
"Yeah got through on the first try, we're gonna head back later to set up." Ryan explained, taking a seat by the bar.
"We? Are you moving in with her?" Callum teased shaking his head. Helena walked over only really somewhat knowing Ryan, Irina and Callum, and feeling a bit shy. "Helena let me introduce you to my cousin and little sister." Ryan grabbed her hand and pulled her over to a small group sitting almost by themselves. The family members that were absent yesterday.
"Andre this is Helena, she's a new member, Rena, this is Helena. Helena this is my cousin Andre and my sister Rena." Ryan eagerly introduced. "Tsk, fake" was the only thing Andre muttered before turning his attention to the brunette on his lap.
Rena waved while the girl elbowed him before introducing herself. "I'm Emilia, this ogres girlfriend." She smiled extending her hand. She was adorable, her hair was in a windswept bob with bangs and she had on large glasses that seemed to make her smaller. Helena reached out shaking her hand.
"Hello Rena, Andre and Emilia. Have you by chance read 'the rich young lady and her pet?' Helena asked holding her hand with shining eyes. Emilia immediately reflected her enthusiasm. "I have."
"I think we should debrief." Helena smiled, attempting to drag Emilia away only for Andre to grab his girlfriend. "I don't think so witch." he snarled pulling Emilia back into him.
Helena's face fell as she dropped Emilia's hand and stepped back. While he didn't say it loud enough for the entire guild to hear, Rena, Emilia and Ryan did. "I'm sorry." she whispered turning to leave when Emilia grabbed her hand shaking off Andres grip.
"As I was about to say, I'd love to." Emilia glared at Andre before leading Helena out of sight for the family to argue.
It didn't take long for them to arrive at the library and Helena stared in shock. "How on earth-" the library was huge, it should've been impossible to fit inside the building, yet somehow, here they were.
"It's funny to see that look on someone's face anytime they come here for the first time. It's spacial magic casted over the library. The real building is actually somewhere completely different. Rumors say it isn't even on earth." Emilia explained with a smile while she continued pulling Helena towards a table.
Helena stared at the library then at Emilia for a moment before smiling.
"Can you believe he really brought his..." the girls chatted animatedly about the book, thoughts and opinions almost in sync.
"If your boyfriend wasn't so scary I'd propose." Helena joked standing up and stretching, her back was slightly aching from sitting so long.
"Never let your boyfriend stop you from finding your wife." Emilia winked. Both girls laughed as they exited the library together only to see Ryan and Andre both rocking new bruises.
"Oh my gosh what happened?" Helena asked looking over his bruises worried. "It's fine, Andre and I wrestled." He replied giving her a goofy grin. "Wrestled yeah." Andre muttered, wincing as Emilia grabbed him by the ear and dragged him off. "Ha, that's what he gets." Ryan mocks pausing when he saw the sad look on Helena's face.
"Hey, it's really fine. We fight a lot here. Nothing serious, just some rough housing. I fight with Callum often too, we still friends." He tried to explain. He didn't like seeing that sad worried look on her face. "Let me heal you." She offered, her eyes pleading.
"You know healing magic?" He asked surprised. It was a rare magic type that only few could use as it requires large amounts of mana. "No wonder you had so much mana, but-" Ryan paused deciding not to say more. "Let's see how good you can heal me up." He smiled
Helena placed her hand over his face causing a faint green light to emit as his bruises vanished as if they were never there. "Wow, you're good, I mean it's okay or whatever." He smiled teasingly causing her to finally smile since seeing his bruises.
"Now let's get out of here and decorate that apartment of yours before it gets too dark.
