Chapter 114 - BACK TO THE STAR GAMES

Back in the past, within a advanced laboratory in Planet Isha, Raziel sits alone inside a sealed digital chamber, his body slightly hunched forward as he wraps his arms around his knees, his expression weighed down by an overwhelming mixture of grief, exhaustion, and emptiness.

While countless thin streams of glowing data, digital lines of energy, flow continuously into his body from every direction, linking him to the surrounding systems.

Beyond the transparent glass barrier of the chamber, more than a dozen noble scientists, their attention fully locked onto Raziel as streams of information scroll endlessly across their floating digital screens.

Then a massive elevator door nearby slowly opens.

From within, a formation of noble soldiers emerges, forming two parallel lines that stretch outward while bowing their heads in unison, creating a clear pathway as a glowing red digital carpet unfolds beneath them, extending all the way toward Raziel's chamber.

At the center of this grand entrance, Queen Lapidary arrives.

Seated upon an elegant floating chair-like machine adorned with intricate mechanisms and shimmering gemstones, she glides forward slowly, her presence commanding absolute authority over the entire space as even the scientists immediately bow upon her arrival.

The chair comes to a gentle stop as Lapidary rises.

Her attire shifts seamlessly into a breathtaking noble dress, woven with countless radiant gems, each movement of her body causing subtle glimmers to dance across the room as she steps forward and approaches the chamber.

The door opens as she enters but Raziel does not react.

His gaze remains fixed on the corner of the room, distant and unfocused, as if his mind exists somewhere far beyond this place.

Lapidary watches him for a moment, her expression softening as she steps closer.

"How is it going… my love?" she asks gently.

Silence answers her.

She tilts her head slightly, a faint sigh escaping her lips as she continues, her tone carrying both patience and longing.

"It has been ten years since we first met… and yet, even now, you still cannot bring yourself to show me even the smallest bit of affection, despite everything I have given you throughout all these years."

With a simple snap of her fingers, a digital plate materializes in her hand, forming from countless fragments of light before settling into a perfectly crafted meal, warm and inviting as if freshly prepared.

She kneels slightly, bringing it toward him but he does not move.

She then tosses the plate upward.

It dissolves instantly into countless glowing particles that drift slowly through the air before circling Raziel's body, gently sinking into him as the energy nourishes him directly, bypassing the need for physical interaction entirely.

Lapidary watches this quietly before speaking again, her voice softer now, almost vulnerable.

"Could you at least talk to me…?"

She steps closer, her gaze lingering on him.

"I have waited all this time to connect with you… and yet, even with all of our advancements, our technology cannot extract a single fragment of your memories."

Her eyes narrow slightly as she studies him.

"All we can do is assume that you were there… during the Holy Shadow War… that you fought to protect what remained of our Universal Garden… and somehow… you ended up here."

Slowly, she leans forward and wraps her arms around him, pulling him gently into an embrace.

"I do not know why our Universal Tree was chosen to be the last one standing… but I can see it in your eyes…"

Her voice lowers.

"You have walked through hell itself."

She rests her head lightly against him.

"Perhaps my words cannot heal the pain within your heart… but I will continue to do everything I can to help you recover… and to understand what truly happened."

Suddenly a voice cuts through the room.

"My Queen, we have received a status report from the Watchers… they have begun their move toward the Golden Kingdom."

Lapidary's eyes shift instantly.

Her expression sharpens.

"Finally..... they are the first to challenge our new God."

A massive digital screen materializes before them, displaying a view of space where thousands upon thousands of ships move in unison, forming a vast fleet as they travel through portals that carry them beyond the boundaries of the Universal Tree, emerging near its uppermost layers.

Raziel's gaze finally shifts, for the first time, something that is interesting for him.

The ships accelerate, piercing through layers of radiant golden clouds until the Golden Kingdom comes into view, shining with a brilliance that eclipses everything around it, its presence almost divine in its perfection as the fleet approaches with full force.

Raziel slowly rises to his feet as he walks toward the screen.

Then a blinding light erupts, it bursts outward from the Golden Kingdom, overwhelming the vision of everyone as it engulfs the approaching fleet entirely.

Lapidary raises her arm, shielding her eyes.

Raziel does not, he continues to stare, unflinching.

Gradually, the light fades.

And what remains is something beyond comprehension, a being, their new God.

Its celestial form begins small, almost insignificant, but within moments, it expands rapidly, growing larger and larger until it towers above the Universal Tree itself, its presence dominating the entirety of existence as it begins to laugh.

Not one ship moves or attacks.

Lapidary's confusion turns into alarm.

"What is happening…? Why are they not engaging?!"

She turns sharply.

"Connect us to our Watcher contact immediately!"

The communication line opens.

A voice answers.

She does not hesitate.

"What happened to the plan?! You guys are supposed to be the strongest force in the Universe! Why are you not fighting it?!"

There is a pause then the Watcher speaks.

"It… has enlightened us…"

His voice trembles.

"We are powerless… its strength knows no bounds… yet… it has chosen to forgive us…"

Silence follows.

"Listen… it is time for our new God of Gods to speak."

The line cuts.

On the screen, the God expands even further, its form now resembling a massive pillar that stretches endlessly above the Universal Tree, before its voice resonates outward across all of existence.

"All mortals within my Universe… I am your Creator."

A pause.

"And I am here to grant you all a chance to ascend… to become Gods…just as I did."

Energy begins to gather.

"Become a Star… and prove your worth… in the Star Games."

The light intensifies.

"Now… is the beginning of everything."

Its golden aura erupts.

Billions upon billions of beams of light shoot outward, piercing through space and entering the Universal Tree, each beam descending toward a different planet, crashing onto their surfaces and forming massive, radiant structures, The Star Gates.

On another screen, Lapidary watches as three of these beams strike Planet Isha, their impact reshaping the land as the Star Gates emerge from the ground, glowing with divine energy.

Then God speaks again.

"Five years from now, these gates will open, and I will welcome all who dare to enter the Star Games."

The tone sharpens.

"Prepare yourselves… gather your wits, strength… and fight… until only one remains."

Across space, the Watchers aboard the ships bow in submission.

Lapidary slowly lowers her hand, her expression shifting into something far more serious.

"Even our strongest have submitted…"

Her eyes narrow.

"The Star Games… Godhood… this may be our only chance to save what remains of our Universal Garden."

Suddenly, the entire room trembles.

Raziel's fist strikes the air with such force that the surrounding systems shake violently.

His voice finally erupts.

"There is no way the demons are capable of such Godly acts…"

His eyes burn with intensity.

"This is false hope… a deception… what are they planning?!"

His breathing grows heavier.

"I must keep trying… but this time…"

A pause.

"…it will be different."

Lapidary freezes then, slowly a smile forms across her face.

"It will be different…" she repeats softly, stepping closer to him.

"Because this time… you will not be alone."

Her voice grows stronger.

"All of Planet Isha stands with you… and together, we will save all life… no matter how long it takes."

Raziel turns toward her.

For the first time their eyes meet.

"I have already taken the first step."

With a snap of her fingers, a digital portal opens beside them, revealing another chamber beyond, filled with rows upon rows of glowing incubators.

They step through.

Inside, Hundreds of incubation pods line the room.

Within them, Infants or what remains of them.

Some are alive and others are not, reduced to red, lifeless forms.

Lapidary gestures toward them with pride.

"Over these past years, we have studied your DNA…"

Her voice carries excitement.

"And combined it with mine to create children capable of surpassing mortal limits…"

Her eyes shine.

"So that one day, humanity may evolve into beings powerful enough to challenge that false God."

Raziel steps forward slowly, his hand resting against one of the pods filled with failed remains.

His voice lowers.

"But it is not perfect…"

A pause.

"Many have already fallen."

Lapidary does not hesitate and steps forward.

"There are always sacrifices in war."

Her tone sharpens.

"But those who survive… will become something greater."

She continues.

"We discovered that a split DNA fusion was impossible… the human body cannot withstand it…"

Her expression shifts slightly.

"So we adjusted the ratio to ninety-five percent mortal… five percent divine…"

A small smile returns.

"And at last… our first successful children were born."

Raziel exhales slowly, his mind racing.

"This… could work…"

He closes his eyes briefly.

"But it will take a long time… I need to think… to develop a better strategy… Give me a place where my mind can fully process this."

Lapidary claps her hands with visible excitement.

Another portal opens, revealing a vast digital world beyond it.

Raziel steps into it as he crosses the threshold, Lapidary speaks softly behind him.

"Take as long as you need… I will always be here for you…"

Her voice trembles slightly with admiration.

"I am certain… that with your divine mind… you will create something even greater than my own plans…"

A small breath escapes her.

"Thank you… truly… it is a blessing to exist alongside someone like you…"

Raziel does not respond.

He only looks back at her for a brief moment before the portal closes.

Meanwhile in present time, across multiple regions of the Star Games, within a massive factory region, where towering machinery and endless conveyor systems stretch into the distance.

Gaia's team engages in a fierce battle against a towering Boss Monster whose entire body is constructed from rotating metal gears, grinding plates, and shifting mechanical parts.

Gaia stands at the center of her formation, her expression calm yet intensely focused as she raises her hand, summoning multiple advanced turrets around the battlefield, each one locking onto the Boss before unleashing concentrated laser fire that pierces through the gaps between its rotating armor.

At the same time, Ortis surges forward, his body radiating draconic energy as scales briefly form along his skin, and with a powerful roar, he unleashes a stream of blazing fire from his mouth, engulfing the Boss in a wave of heat that clashes violently against its metallic body.

Hopper follows close behind, planting himself firmly between his teammates and the Boss as he raises his massive shield, absorbing the barrage of incoming mechanical strikes and projectile attacks.

Elsewhere, within a dark and oppressive metal chains region, Jayden and his team face off against another Boss Monster, this one surrounded by countless chains that lash out unpredictably, tearing through the environment with brutal force as if the entire area itself is under its control.

Yet despite the chaos, Jayden walks forward, calmly as a powerful heroic aura surrounds him, glowing faintly as the incoming chain attacks collide against it and are deflected harmlessly, bouncing away as if they cannot even touch him.

Behind him, Ambros takes position at a distance, carefully aiming his sniper before pulling the trigger, releasing a precise shot that activates a deployed machine drone mid-flight, which immediately connects with Pax, allowing him to latch onto it as he is propelled forward at incredible speed.

Pax dives in with his robotic arms unfolding as they unleash a relentless barrage of bullets, each shot tearing into the Boss's defenses.

At the same time, Vesper emerges silently from the shadows behind the Boss, his presence barely noticeable until the moment his blade strikes, delivering rapid, precise shadow-infused cuts that carve into its body repeatedly before he vanishes once more into darkness.

Then, Rudi raises her staff.

"Enchanted Power."

A surge of energy flows outward, enveloping Jayden in a crimson glow that amplifies his strength to new heights.

Jayden stops then explodes forward.

"Hero's Mighty Punch!"

His fist connects with overwhelming force, sending a shockwave through the entire region as the Boss's massive HP bar begins to drop rapidly.

Meanwhile, High above a ruined region, Kayle is soaring through the sky, her white wings spreading wide as she moves with elegant control, yet even as she flies, a massive Fire Boss Monster chases her relentlessly, its blazing form growing more intense with every passing moment.

Kayle's expression sharpens.

She then swings her sword forward, releasing a powerful energy wave that travels far into the distance and strikes the sun itself.

The explosion disrupts the source of the Boss's power, causing its massive form to shrink rapidly as its overwhelming size shrinks.

Seizing the opportunity, Kayle spins gracefully mid-air, gathering lightning within her hand before throwing it forward with precision.

"Thor's Lightning Bolt!"

The attack crashes directly into the weakened Boss, engulfing it in a storm of electricity.

Meanwhile, within a structured tournament bracket arena, Lars stands at the center of a one-on-one trial, where the Boss Monster itself acts as the announcer, overseeing each match with cold authority as Stars are forced to eliminate one another in a controlled yet deadly competition.

Lars steps forward as the first competitor, his opponent standing across from him, a Star wielding a staff, clearly a powerful Wizard, who wastes no time in casting multiple spells simultaneously, filling the arena with destructive magic.

But Lars does not hesitate as he charges forward, activating his berserker abilities, pushing through the incoming spells with sheer aggression as he closes the distance, ready to overwhelm his opponent.

In another region, transformed into a massive chess trial, Gilga and his team find themselves in a strategic battlefield where each Star party becomes living chess pieces, forced to fight not only with strength, but with calculated positioning and tactical decision-making.

Outside of the board stands Gilga, acting as the player himself, his mind orchestrating every movement with precision as his numerous zombie summons take on the roles of expendable chess pieces, advancing across the board to control space and pressure the opposing team.

Baron stands tall, wearing a crown that marks her as the Queen piece, while Khaos, is also crowned, representing the King piece.

Finally, in a completely different and almost surreal region, Boa and his team step into what appears to be a giant kitchen table, where everything around them is massively scaled, causing them to appear no larger than ants as they navigate across the wooden surface, surrounded by towering utensils, plates, and scattered crumbs that feel like obstacles in an unfamiliar world.

Hans rushes ahead with uncontainable excitement, Behind him, Voytek shakes his head slightly, though he follows closely, clearly used to this kind of behavior.

Crank glances toward Boa, a small smirk forming on his face.

"He reminds me of Yunbam."

Boa looks ahead at Hans for a moment before responding, his tone calm but thoughtful.

"Yeah… they carry the same kind of fire within them."
