Sylas' mind was racing. This treasure fixed several problems for him.
First was the problem of how he was going to accelerate Earth's ascension from his side. Even if Elara managed to do what he asked of her, it would be meaningless if Earth wasn't primed and ready.
But this treasure would allow him to purge the Galaxy of all its resources, then replace every mine with kernels of Demi-God energy.
The best part was that the treasure wouldn't have the burden of dealing with the replenishing. Instead, the system would do it because it was already priming them for an ascent in the first place.
Sylas would swap out the engine, and the system would provide all the gas. The only thing wrong with that analogy was that the system would actually be doing the much harder part.
