Third person POV
And hour after lunchtime, in Shu's room, Shu was taking a nap after the entire morning of bloodbath with Tashio and the heavy meal. Gen was on another bed nearby taking a nap as well. Their shared dream took place in a cemetery in the middle of Japan-limited zombie apocalypse, and in front of them was the distorted version of Shu with a pistol on hand. He had a self-inflicted gunshot on his head from his guilt against Gen. Behind him was the gravestone of Shu's parents complete with wax candles and incense sticks.
Gen and the real Shu were horrified to see that.
"W-What happened to you?!" the real Shu gasped.
"Is that…?" Gen's face became pale.
"You two…" the distorted version of Shu replied with hostility on his voice and eyes, "…must kill the monster within me…I am still in despair after what I had done to Gen-san. I am disappearing for your peace, Shu."
"He's not doing alright…" the real Shu responded.
"We must do our peace treatments a bit more seriously…" Gen added.
"A word of advice…" the fake Shu replied, "…keep the sensational points."
Gen and the real Shu then got it, and the bell of a nearby temple rang. The dream ended; it was a warning from Shu's distorted self of himself who had remaining hope and morals. After waking up from that at an early time of 2:10 p.m., Shu and Gen decided to do the next peace treatment by 7 p.m. after dinnertime at 6 p.m. For now, they will do some research work for the cure. 3 p.m. became Shu's time for prayer with his rosary, though he rejected intercession of Mary and the saints and the power of the relics of the saints, aligning his faith more to Anglicanism and Lutheranism. Shu was also working on the details of his next peace treatments with Gen for tonight. He added that Gen should be wearing a respiratory mask upon wielding, this time, an Uzi submachine gun and a vial containing his modified zombie virus. The latter was to be forced to swallow the deadly virus down his throat. Also, he wrote that Hayate will shoot him with dual Desert Eagle pistols. Shu will add more details soon, and he knew that this would take a few nights or more to cleanse his psyche to give his distorted self from the shared dream the rest he was desperate to have. Tashio and Kashi had no idea what 7 p.m. will bring.
