'Ooh, so much to unpack here, I might need a nap,' I think to myself,' I was conceived through a ritual? Does that mean my dad could just be a regular Joe, and that my extra power came from the ritual, but what about the hellfire and Darkness abilities? Those aren't Succubi abilities. This changes a lot, but at least I know she doesn't hate me, we can figure out all that other stuff as I get older, Does Blaise know?'

About the individual- Blaise Zabini is an arrogant young wizard, He has bought into the pureblood purity noise and his belief in his natural gifts has left him a bit lazy but he is quite talented in magic maybe just a touch below draco malfoy but he also can rely on his physical skills gifted by his partial inheritance of the succubi bloodline though much weaker as he is a man has found himself with a hatred of the incubi formed from jealousy at being unable to inherit the full gifts of his bloodline from his mother. (Incubi male succubus)
His mother told him when he was younger stories of how Ronan would one day be a very powerful wizard, and if he became friends with and supported him, he would one day walk together with him as a powerful, successful wizard. The more he saw over the years, the more convinced he was that to reach a significant level of success, all he had to do was follow Ronan. He can be considered a confidant, but may consider betrayal if accompanying wealth, respect, and power are not given in equal amounts to the risk taken. ]
'Well, the arrogance isn't great and laziness and his hatred of incubi, but he's a trustworthy, sort of, as long as he's well compensated, I guess I've found my Ron, guess he doesn't know that I'm betrothed to his sister.' I chuckle in my mind. I have done my silent analysis swiftly, but there is a lot to review. When I look back at Isabella, her gaze has sharpened, a bit annoyed at my silence. Her annoyance makes me chuckle in my head, not letting my amusement show.
"It's good to see you all and to have a few new faces joining us; it's such a privilege to make new friends," I tell the group. "Isabella, you look absolutely stunning. I've heard great things about your first year at Hogwarts. I can positively feel the power radiating off of you must have been an exciting year."
I overwhelm her with swift compliments; no one can be angry at someone who flatters them, and I can tell she likes the flattery. She nods her head accepting the praise.
"It was a very productive year. Hogwarts is such a beautiful school, the best magical school in the world, I think you will love it when it's time for you to go," she replied in turn. The words, though spoken to me, were not spoken for me, as right next to her was Fleur Delacour, outside of me, Fleur was one of the most influential at the table but her family didn't have much wealth in comparison to The zabini's much less the Blacks's and had a thriving rivalry going with Isabella for one simple reason: everyone at this table had one parent who was uber successful.
In contrast, Fleur had two her father was a bigwig head of French representation in the ICW, leader of the Veritas Council French Artego block in the Iluminati. Her mother was the head of the Veela Artego in Dominon faction. Her ideals leaned more towards the Illuminati; her hatred of anything dark was drilled into her by her father, but she was also a bit unwelcome in the Illuminati faction because she's a veela.
"Yes zey are ze best at removing classes like ze dueling and ze alchemy heestory taught by a ghost unable to change eet'z tune, unable to be questioned, and Mon Dieu, ze Defense classes ze curse on ze class meant to teach ze students to resist such things," Fleur came out swinging. Unlike her movie counterpart, she looked strongly similar to Emma Roberts. The comment was a ruthless but accurate assessment of how Hogwarts had floated downhill over the last few years. Lightning sparks between the two of them. Though while insulting her she showed off the level of information she has her families influence far and wide to know almost every struggle that hogwarts was currently experiencing without even being in same country was impressive.
"Now, now... even if Hogwarts has had some problems over the past few years, it still showcases the largest and most varied magical library in the world, except the one owned by my family and isabella isn't saying that beauxbatons isn't a lovely magical school with many distinct and unique advantages," I said, trying to support Isabella and shut down the fight the others at the table where showcasing varied emotions boredom anxiety from the new kids. They gave a huff—communication Breakdown. I moved on, turning to the girl on the other side of Isabella.
"How about you, Daphne? How was your year, Daphne Greengrass, the overly used Fanfiction character in this world, her Father, while neutral in the ICW, was a solid member of the Dominion on the Veritas council, mostly because their herbolgy farms and stranglehold on potioneering supplies most cauldron's had to be prepared in a special way to be able to take the powerful magic that happens when ingredients are mixed in the old days you would have to switch cauldrons for every new ingredient the greengrasses came up with a solvent that removed the necessity of that step in the potion process.
She looked a lot like Olivia Foxworth. Her sister wasn't in attendance though I had met her last year. Knowing of the bloodline curse, I made a note to ask about it in private when I get the chance. My Family was involved deeply in the trade of Dark herbology and potion ingredients. We knew intimately how well their products sold, where Fleur's Family had the leg up on influence, Daphne's had a leg up on money. They were similarly Grey Leaning of The Dominion Faction, but they held on to a lot of Traditionalist Values,
"Pretty good year, production has been good. Since your mother brokered that deal with the luthors from the secular faction, Income has nearly doubled."She said humble bragging, everyone knew how much her family made from the business to hear their already redonkulous report earnings of nearly double was sobering to the others who thought themselves important, even Draco took a sharp intake of air at the news.
"Still having to have enchanters active on more continents must be digging into your profits," I say back. The Cauldrons and the Greengrass solvent could be transported through muggle means since without active enchantments the cauldrons were just big metal bowls and lids. As for the greengrass solvent, it could be disguised as a lot of different things, and without active magic to spread the magic in the cauldrons, it was just a substance that looked and acted like industrial lubricant. The ICW had a funding crisis. A few years ago, to fix said crisis, they imposed fines and taxes on magical shipments throughout the world in an attempt to weaken any family that had a stranglehold on a type of magical import and/or export, and for the Greengrasses, this was a massive hit to their bottom line.
My mother had proposed a solution after learning that both the necessary products, when inactive, could pass as nonmagical by ICW standards. She proposed a deal with a few Corporations that were powerful enough to handle widespread distribution, but ultimately settled with Lionel Luther as his low moral code meant he would look the other way on most issues as long as his palm was greased appropriately. Plus it was easy to keep his greed in check because even if he could transport the goods he couldn't contact the business on the magical side to sell the goods. All of it was technically legal but there were definitely some grey areas sneaking under the spirit of the law if not the actual law itself, but because of it, the greengrasses stayed in control, and the ICW solved its funding crisis by cracking down on the import and export of magical creatures instead.
Though there was one minor issue, a wizard and/or witch could only brew a simple potion in a cauldron with just a basic cauldron and the greengress solvent, but for higher level potions it was necessary for an enchanter to cast a few protection spells, so upon delivery, they had to recruit enchanters for different nations to enchant the goods as soon as they arrived. That is where our Vassals, the Everdeans, came in handy. Natural good craftsmen, kind of like the Scammander family of enchanting and tied extremely close to our family, though they weren't as interested in the Dark arts as our usual Vassals.
"Well, it is a bit costly, but really, by how much smoother we can conduct business, it is negligible to the new streams of income, Even nations that would depend on other means for brewing potions have started to use cauldrons again such as the easterns and their pill cauldrons or the south americans with their prenda cauldrons." She replied a little bit of pride slipping through.
"Good... yes, very Good," I say. This is just the beginning. Hopefully, in the next year, we can start a similar deal with smaller low magic potion ingredients that aren't qualified under ICW, which should improve profits even more rapidly." I tell her.
Her smile widens with the thought. Though ingredients like horklump juice and flobberworm mucus were out of the question, Dittany leaves, moly, Wiggentree bark, and mint were all technically muggle items, and those were just ingredients to the basic Wiggenweld potion. A better Public Image will help us hide our Dark Operations much easier.
Many of the others at the table were in contemplative thought at how to get in on the deal. Fleur however, had a look of shock and outrage of the blatant discussion of how to undercut the ICW. I instantly realize if I don't nip that in the bud, she would run off to her father about our discussion, so I go on the offensive.
"Fleur I get that your father is a big wig in the ICW but Daphnes Family has ran the potion trade for nearly 600 years the law passed was deliberately made to undercut her family Us thinking of creative soulutions to save her business is not illegal or morally reprehensible, if anything what was reprehensible was the passing of such a law in the first place to try to legally rob established families of their business's look around you where are the Dragos's," I Tell her. The Dragos family was basically the greengrass family except for magical creature family. While still a wealthy and important family, they had fallen from the top of the magical world.
"What if the ICW Decided to cut your Mother's business's just because she was a vella becuase of a future financial crisis?" I ask her. This sends her into a deep, contemplative thought. After a few minutes of silence, the others broke into their own private conversations with the people next to them. She soon gives a slight nod, giving in to the logic. Isabella, next to her, looks proud at my handling of the situation and disgusted at Fleur, a full conundrum at such a minor issue.
"So please introduce yourselves, our new compatriots," I say, finally addressing the new members.
