Chapter 185 - Chapter 185

"An agriculture club with games and prizes, that's amazing Shinobu, I can't wait to see the booth." Douma said in an enthusiastic and melodic voice that sounded encouraging.

"It's gonna be exciting, that's a guarantee." Shinobu replied optimistically.

A group of boys ran out of the school gates, one of them dribbling the ball and passing it to another friend who happened to walk past the group.

There was a crowd gathered around the booths with tons of beautiful decorations and displays.

Loud sentinel music was playing in the background, mixed with some celebrations and applause from the other booths across the court, particularly the sports events and games that were going on.

"Over there!" Pointing at the booth with plants and posters on display like a biodiversity-themed exhibition, Shinobu ran over to it, followed by Douma who caught up with her.

A male teenager was carrying a few pots over to the other booth that requested for a few displays to promote the agenda of the agriculture club, which seemed to be getting a lot of traction from both students and visitors alike.

He placed several badges and stickers on the table, everyone standing around these booths looked around in awe, excited to get their hands on the prizes that they will get if they win the games and sure enough the games looked engaging and interesting from the briefing that the other girl standing beside the large board was giving to the guests.

"I'm getting all of these!"

"Nah they belong to me!"

"Alright let's see."

The girl standing beside the large board looked up and gleamed when she saw the violette approaching the booth.

"Oh hey Shinobu! Longtime no see! I'm happy to see you here!" Haruka exclaimed, she was one of the most dedicated members in the club and had uphold the responsibilities she was trusted with since Shinobu and the others had graduated.

And the violette could see her commitment to her duties, Haruka was a worthy successor and she will be a good role model for the new members who just joined the club, even the ones in the future who would look up to her just like everybody else.

Douma could tell Shinobu was a very influential person in the agriculture club, her friends appreciated her very much.

"Hey Haruka how have you been? I brought the album I'm sure you can't wait to see it!" Shinobu said cheerfully, placing the album of the intricate collection of plants and flowers on the booth table.

Haruka flipped through the pages with a bright smile on her face. "This is beautiful, I love it!"

The pictures that stood out to her the most were the flowers at the famous garden in Tokyo where both Douma and Shinobu happened to stumble upon each other that day.

Douma watched the violette interacting with her friends, as the other members of the club gathered around the booth, welcoming Shinobu back to the club's vibrant atmosphere. He was happy for her.

Ken who was moving from booth to booth with the potted plants stood beside the group and gazed upon the majestic pictures in the album. It seemed everyone including the guests were intrigued by the beauty of the terrestrial collection on the table.

"Yeah these pictures are nice." The teen said, gazing upon the pictures that he saw with every flip of the pages in the album.

This reunion reminded Douma of his time at the shrine with his followers and visitors, just like the former shrine leader himself, Shinobu brought people together, and this impact left him inspired just like everybody else, even though inspiration had always been a part of his daily routine.

Maybe they were both always meant to unite people together, it doesn't matter where or when, it was always destined to be.

"She's really creative." Douma said in a soothing tone, everyone looked at him before glancing back at the booth table.

Turning to the back slightly, the violette smiled, "He's always giving me good ideas."

"That's wonderful! Having someone like that is a gift!" Someone from the crowd exclaimed.

A melodic tune started playing outside the school gate, Douma glanced to the direction and saw several students walking towards a corner by the side of the wall.

This immersive and elegant melody... even the wind started blowing, aligning itself with the rhythm.

Douma wanted to find out more about this melody, it was really piquing his curiosity.

The booth was buzzing with people, arranging the prizes and decorations on the table and making sure the album is displayed properly, Shinobu and Haruka gave briefings to their visitors while the others helping out were checking on the posters and putting up more on the large board.

"Hey Shinobu I'll be right back." Douma told the violette who glanced at him and heard the relaxing melody more clearly since she wasn't standing too close to the other visitors anymore.

"Alright Douma, don't forget about the upcoming events. They're starting soon." Shinobu replied enthusiastically.

"Yeah I'll remember!" Douma briskly walked towards the gates and turned right when he heard the melody coming nearer to him.

There was an old man sitting on the stool by the wall, playing the saxophone while a few students gathered around him to listen to the music.

When the song came to an end, the students clapped and left the vicinity, Douma stood there, watching the man putting his saxophone by the stool and gaze up at the bright blue sky.

"It's times like this that bring people together." The old man said, still looking at the sky and scenery.

"Oh I agree." Douma replied, the streaks of sunlight dawned on the old man's saxophone, he saw his name written on it.

"That's why this is one of those days that I'm certain I'll remember, my music united a lot of people today, and the weather is just perfect to form a moment that hearts will cherish for a lifetime." Mr Toruyu said, listening to the birds chirping on the tree.

"It's the littlest things that can make a big impact, and I'm sure that today, you've made an impact on not just one person but many others."

Douma glanced at the old man and thought about the agriculture booth and how lively it's been.

"I'm happy to, and I'm sure there are those who will always cherish these moments." The angel said, thinking about everything that has happened.

The old man's wisdom was still going strong, he believed in its power which has indeed fulfilled what he's always hoped for, Douma found his dedication admirable, the world needed more people like this.

"Today is a day of gifts, blessings, and dreams that eventually come true, one that many hope to experience. The calm weather and the connections that people create from the simplest of interactions. It's moments like this that make us realize, there's always something that makes us smile, no matter how long it's been since we last saw it." The old man continued in a relaxed tone.

The leaves from the trees spiraled in the sky, following the direction of the wind. Douma found the scenery calming just as how the old man described this day to be. The striking blue sky and the chorus of cheers and excitement from the people in the area truly made this day as significant as it was destined to be.
