In the beginning, there was no time.
No fate.
No beginning and no end.
No life and no death.
No light and no darkness.
No laws.
No concepts.
He alone existed.
There was only the endless Void and the One who slumbered within it or was he the endless void...?
For an eternity beyond measure, He slept.
And He continued to sleep.
As He slept, His body descended into the depths of the Void, while His will drifted endlessly through the nothingness. Yet despite this separation, He remained unchanged.
He remained the Absolute.
------------------------------
The Void shimmered with an impossible brilliance.
There were no colors, for light had yet to be born. No sound existed to disturb the silence. No wind moved through the emptiness.
Eternal darkness ruled all that was and all that was not.
Yet within that infinite nothingness, two beings drifted.
One was a formless entity of pure gold.
It possessed no true shape, no beginning, and no end. Golden radiance flowed endlessly from its existence, illuminating a realm where light should not have existed.
It was the wandering will of the Absolute.
And from the convergence of body and will, from something that was neither creation nor birth, a new existence appeared.
A being of golden divinity.
It floated through the endless Void, its formless essence stretching across the nothingness before drifting toward another presence.
A presence unlike any other.
The other was a dragon.
A being so magnificent that words themselves would one day fail to describe it.
Its colossal body stretched across the endless Void. Scales resembling living stars covered its form, each one shining with a beauty that would inspire the galaxies of future ages.
Its eyes were ancient.
Older than time.
Older than fate.
Older than the countless worlds that had yet to be born.
The dragon gazed upon the golden being.
And the golden being gazed back.
For they were alike.
Neither had been created.
Neither possessed a beginning.
Neither knew an end.
For the first time since existence had yet to exist, neither was alone.
The dragon felt something unfamiliar.
A brother.
And so their thoughts converged within the endless silence.
One embodied boundless creation.
The other embodied infinite majesty.
Then, the dragon spoke.
"Arceus."
A name echoed through the Void.
A name that should not have existed.
For there was no language.
No sound.
No concepts from which names could be born.
And yet, the name existed.
As though it had always existed.
The golden being remained silent for a moment before turning toward the dragon.
"Veldanava."
Another impossible name emerged.
The Void trembled.
For the first words had been spoken before words themselves were meant to exist.
The dragon smiled.
The golden being smiled in return.
And in that endless sea of nothingness, the first bond was formed.
They were not creator and creation.
They were not master and servant.
They were kin.
They were brothers.
And together, they would witness the birth of all existence.
---------
"What are you doing?"
The golden mist circled around the dragon, spinning around his horns before drifting in front of his face.
"I am bored."
Veldanava's tail lazily smacked against the Void.
BOOM.
The endless darkness shook.
Which made absolutely no sense.
There was no space.
No matter.
No reality.
Nothing should have moved.
Yet the Void trembled anyway.
Arceus blinked.
"How did you do that?"
"I don't know."
"You know."
"I do."
"Then tell me."
"No."
"Brother."
"No."
"Brother."
"No."
"hmm:Arceus puffed up.
Veldanava ignored him.
Instead, he looked toward the darkness.
Then an idea came to him.
His eyes twinkled.
"Oh."
"Oh?" Arceus immediately appeared beside his face.
"Oh means you're about to do something."
"I am."
"What?"
Veldanava raised a claw.
The darkness split apart.
Two figures emerged from the Void.
One black.
One white.
"WOOOOOOOOOO!"
Arceus shot forward.
The golden mist spun around the two newborn beings.
They looked at themselves. Then at Veldanava. Then at Arceus. Then at each other.
Neither spoke.
Neither moved.
The greatest holy spirits remained motionless both so powerful yet they remained egoless?
Veldanava stared.
"hnnn"Then he frowned.
Then stared some more.
"hnnnnnnnn"Then frowned harder.
Arceus floated beside him.
"What?"
"Something is missing."
"What?"
"They don't have personalities."
"Can you fix it?"
"Of course."
"Then why don't you?"
Veldanava looked at him.
Arceus looked back.
----
Several eternities later.
------
Finally Veldanava answered.
"Because that's boring."
Arceus nodded as his misty head shook.
"Fair." he looked cute doing that veldanava smiled at his equal before shaking his head.
The dragon pointed toward the white figure.
"Great Holy Spirit of Light."
Then toward the black figure.
"Great Holy Spirit of Darkness."
The moment the names were spoken, both spirits raised their hands.
A layer formed above the Absolute Void.
Another Void.
A greater Void.
A place that existed above nothingness.
Arceus stared.
Veldanava stared.
The Holy Spirits stared.
Nobody knew what they were doing.
Except Veldanava.
But knowing everything was boring.
So he pretended not to.
"This is amazing."Arceus yelled as he moved like a cannon ball across the space.
"It is literally exactly what I knew would happen."veldanava said proudly
"Then why are you smiling?"Arceus asked as a question a mark appeared above his head
"It feels different when you're watching it."
The smile on Veldanava's face widened.
Then widened more.
Then widened even more.
And suddenly—
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
The dragon burst into laughter.
The Void shook.
The new realm shook.
The Holy Spirits looked confused.
Arceus looked even more confused.
"Brother."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
"velda."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
"VELDA!"
The dragon finally stopped.
"What?"
Arceus pointed toward the new realm.
"What is this?"
Veldanava looked at it.
"Heaven...Valhala...paradise....nirvana...or as i like to call it"
"Promised Land."
"which sound more cool ?"Veldanava asked after looking all cool
"dumbass" Arceus muttered
Veldanava looked at Arceus "has this kid entered his rebellious phase" he thought before casually waving his claw.
Another layer formed within the Promised Land.
A world within a world.
A heaven within heaven.
The Great Holy Spirit of Light looked at the Great Holy Spirit of Darkness.
The Great Holy Spirit of Darkness looked back.
Then—
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The Void shook.
The Promised Land shook.
The newborn layers trembled.
Yet neither Veldanava nor Arceus felt anything.
How could they?
The Promised Land was outside everything.
And they stood above it.
They watched.
And something appeared.
Information.
Not matter.
Not energy.
Information.
The first information.
The foundation of all things.
Veldanava's eyes gleamed.
The countless streams of information drifted toward him.
He raised his claw.
The information obeyed.
It spiraled around his massive draconic arm.
Round and round and round and round.
Like a galaxy before galaxies existed.
Like stars before stars were born.
Like creation waiting to happen.
The particles merged,Combined,Expanded,Growing larger,Growing brighter.
Growing more complete.
"Ahhhhh..."
Arceus breathed.
Golden mist flowed from his body.
The mist mixed with the swirling information.
The moment the two touched—
COLOUR.
The first colours exploded into existence.
Gold.
White.
Blue.
Red.
Colours that had never existed before suddenly filled the endless darkness.
Veldanava smiled.
"WOW"Arceus gasped.
The Void itself seemed to hold its breath.
Then Veldanava moved again.
A single wave.
Information converged.
The swirling mass twisted.
Expanded.
Changed.
Wings.
White wings.
Hundreds of them.
Thousands of them.
Tens of thousands of them.
Countless holy wings unfolded one after another.
A great ring formed.
At its center—
An eye.
A single eye...
The wings spread across the Promised Land.
The Great Holy Spirit of light froze.
For they recognized it.
It carried their essence.
Their authority.
Their divinity.
It was derived from them.
Arceus immediately rushed forward.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
His golden mist spun around the newborn existence.
"The first one!"
"The first creation!"
"The first creation!"
He circled it excitedly.
Again.
And again.
And again.
The great being opened its eye.
For the first time—
A creation looked upon creation.
Silence fell.
Even the Void seemed to wait.
Veldanava slowly turned toward the endless darkness beyond Eden.
Arceus followed his gaze.
The two brothers looked upon the empty nothingness.
The untouched Void.
The place where all things would begin.
Then they smiled.
And spoke together.
"BeginningEden/Let there be Light."
The words spread.
The concepts spread.
The laws spread.
Reality listened.
Existence listened.
The avatars of greatest holy spirit started to wake up.
Then—
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
Light was born.
And the age of nothingness ended.
