The pink cloud carried them higher still, past the glittering restaurant levels and into the one-hundred-fiftieth floor. Here the air itself felt heavier, thick with perfume, soft music, and the low murmur of many voices. Soft pink light washed over polished corridors that stretched in every direction. Suzuka's steps slowed. She already knew, from the way Tyler's expression had grown quietly proud, that these floors would be far more intense than anything below.
She closed her eyes the moment the first wall came into view and refused to open them again for several long seconds.
