Carmen was astonished to learn that his scalping method was to be used for the greater good.
She had long known that he was an orphan, but she never really pried any further than that. She could sense that he was always unhappy when he brought up the events during his orphanage period.
"Do you need my help in setting it up?" She asked softly.
"Hmm?" Xu Feng raised an eyebrow. It was rare for her to request to take charge.
"You know how to set one up?"
"Mhmm. My previous work was marketing a charity foundation to gather donations to fund schools."
She explained and quickly clarified, "Oh, I made sure to oversee everything, so the funds they received really went to building schools. Those schools still exist and are quite popular for low-income households."
"Haha, you don't have to stress that." He smiled and gave her a light peck on the cheek. He realized her sensitivity seemed to be greater than he had thought.
