Isn't this just playing with people?
Both exist as divine powers.
For them, the undead, the presence of slaughter divine power and undead divine power are entirely different concepts.
In the face of the former, they could rely on their territory, and there was a possibility of resistance.
But in the face of the latter, all resistance is futile, and ultimately their only fate is to surrender to the other party; otherwise, the foundation of their existence might be stripped away.
Unless they have another more powerful Undead God supporting them.
