Chapter 320 - Chapter 319 - Epilogue 01.

[Chapter Size: 3700 Words.]

Third Person POV

Platform 9¾.

...

...

2 years later, at platform 9¾, the train to Hogwarts in the north of Great Britain was stopped at the station, waiting for the returning and new students of that year.

"Come on, Sev!", little Lily shouted excitedly through the crowd, full of anticipation to go to Hogwarts, while trying to pull Severus by the hand to look at the whole train before boarding.

"Stop that, Lily! You should behave here, you can look at the train later!", exclaimed a 12-year-old Petunia.

She wore the Ravenclaw uniform and looked with dissatisfaction at her younger sister. Petunia had gone to Hogwarts a year earlier, as she was older and had magic that she discovered at the age of 10, strangely when she met Severus Prince. Her letter had arrived first, and she had been sorted into Ravenclaw House.

Now, that year, Lily would go along with Severus.

"Girls!", called the older woman, with black hair and green eyes, approaching. "Your sister is right, Lily. You still have to say goodbye to us. And Severus also needs to say goodbye to his family."

Mr. Evans, with red hair, smiled at his youngest daughter. "Calm down, dear. The train still has an hour before it leaves. That's why we came earlier. We almost missed it the first time, when we brought Petunia."

"We should have listened to Eileen about arriving earlier last year...", Mrs. Evans murmured, looking at the beautiful and well-dressed woman like an aristocratic witch, with black hair, who was approaching Severus — his mother.

Over the past two years, the Evans family had changed a lot. Both daughters were witches and were now leaving their home to go study at Hogwarts. Petunia had started a year earlier, but since they met the Prince family, all the Evans had become more familiar with the magical world; they had become friends since Severus met Lily and her sister in the Cokeworth park.

Eileen had become very close friends with Mrs. Evans. She had explained everything about the magical world and had helped buy Petunia's school supplies in Diagon Alley last year, accompanying her personally.

Petunia had spent her first year at Hogwarts and had returned only during the winter holidays. When she finished the school year, she was completely in love with the magical world.

She had not become bitter as in the other timeline. She was an energetic and determined girl. Although her unpleasant temper appeared at times, she was very different from the other version. Severus did not regret granting her magic. Still, she kept making some complaints — she did not like the Slytherin boys very much, since prejudice against Muggle-borns was still strong, even with Voldemort dead for more than 4 years.

Severus could not interfere in that. He could not change everyone's mentality. But he would certainly control the situation when he was in Slytherin, wishing to live a normal life.

He had already met with Dumbledore a few times since he returned. The Minister was no longer cautious around him either. He knew very well that Severus could practically be a god in that world — capable of destroying it or controlling the entire world if he wished, and no one would be able to do anything.

Now, with all the shadows conquered during the three-decade war, Severus possessed ten million shadows. He could devastate the planet in minutes.

But Dumbledore understood. Severus only wanted to live his life.

And the Headmaster and the Minister, who had not left his position as in the other timeline, having found a powerful ally in Severus, accepted that.

In fact, Dumbledore himself even found it comforting that the world had a protector far more powerful than anyone he could imagine.

As long as Severus was there, no evil would happen in the world. Even if a war between Muggles and wizards arose, he would interfere. He could even serve as a bridge between the two worlds, since he had already warned that, with the advancement of technology, the wizarding world would soon be discovered by the Muggles. Knowing very well technological worlds that could easily find the wizarding world and even destroy it.

In any case, Severus squeezed Lily's hand. "Wait, Lily. I'll say goodbye to my family. Then we'll find a place for us."

Lily nodded, reluctantly, but she went to her parents.

Severus turned to his parents. His mother was holding a three-year-old little girl at her side. The little one stretched her arms toward him, restless, until Eileen let her go, and the girl ran.

"Brother, are you leaving for a long time already!?", she asked, pouting with a tearful tone.

Severus crouched down, hugging the little girl who had the same appearance as his, before lifting her easily.

"I know, but your brother will be back at Christmas and he will bring an unforgettable gift, Solene!", he said, kissing her cheek.

He loved his sister.

His parents approached. "It seems like it's your first year at Hogwarts, Severus. If we can even say that...", Eileen commented tenderly. "But you'll be fine, won't you?"

Her son was the most powerful being in the world — but he was still her son, and she loved him. Things in this timeline were much better than in the other.

"Of course, mother. I'll survive," he mocked with a small smile.

Beside her, Tobias snorted lightly. "Good luck, Severus. And, if you need to beat someone up... well, do it properly," he said with a restrained smile.

This was Tobias now. No longer the resentful and embittered man Severus had known. The Potion of Hatred had turned him into that beast in the past. After Severus removed its effects, he truly changed. He asked Eileen for forgiveness and she forgave him after he tried to win her back for months, until she gave him a chance again.

When Severus spoke with his father, he made a point of showing what he had done in the future, showing the pathetic man he had become. Tobias cried. Not even Severus knew how to react, seeing Tobias crying like a child, asking for forgiveness — and Severus did not forgive him. It was only after one year, with Severus giving a condition that he would do this for his mother and even for his newborn sister.

If Tobias did not truly show that he had changed, Severus would end him, just as he would at any moment he raised his hand against his wife or daughter again. Tobias accepted that condition, and thus a year passed.

In Tobias's arms there was a sleepy baby — the little brother who had been born in recent months.

"I know, father," Severus murmured with a small smile. Calling him father was still a strange word, but he had accepted that his father had changed. He had become a firm man; he had seen that he loved his family over the last two years.

The relationship may not have begun with natural feelings, but this time, Eileen had truly come to love him — and Tobias had changed for her.

Severus felt his father's hand ruffling his hair as he crouched down to show Severus the baby. Severus took his little brother in his arms and hugged him, even while holding his sister in the other; he had more than enough strength for that.

"I will be back soon," he murmured to the little one. Then he turned to his sister, who seemed a little jealous, and hugged her tightly.

"See you at Christmas, little sister. How about writing me some letters?"

"Of course, brother!", she smiled excitedly. "Aunt Rosaria taught me how to read and write!"

Severus knew that Rosaria gave private lessons to his little sister. Severus had cured Rosaria's problem, as she used to smell the bad scent of all people, except him.

They were already in a relationship, although secret. Severus continued with the appearance of an eleven-year-old boy — although he was almost 100 chronologically if he combined his life, Morou's life, and the three-decade war — When he went to the Prince Manor, he returned to his adult form and spent time with his uncle and with Rosaria, practically already living as if married.

Severus cast one last look at the Evans family, exchanging final farewells with Lily, and soon joined her and Petunia.

"Let's go already!", Lily said excitedly.

Petunia only grumbled, but ended up following the other two children.

After storing their luggage, Petunia, wanting to help her sister, led her to a compartment and began speaking animatedly about Hogwarts. There was a sparkle in her eyes, wanting to teach her sister.

Soon, some of Petunia's friends in Ravenclaw uniforms appeared to join her, Severus, and Lily. The second-year girls looked at Severus with admiration, complimenting his appearance.

Lily was clearly bothered. She did not like the female attention Severus had received since she met him. She had already been showing jealousy whenever some girl their age in their neighborhood complimented him and seemed to want to be with him, even trying to push her aside to have more time with Severus. After all, Severus was very handsome.

He kept the same appearance from his prime in his past life — only younger. He lived in complete contrast to who he had been at that age in the original timeline: crooked nose, poor clothes, unkempt appearance.

At one point, Lily puffed out her cheeks and tugged at his sleeve. "Let's change compartments, Sev!"

"Lily!" Petunia tried to protest, but the two had already left. Severus simply followed Lily.

They chose an empty compartment and sat down. The train had not yet departed.

While they were talking, other people entered the carriage. Two of them Severus knew very well: Pandora and Clarice.

They stopped as soon as they saw him, as if they already recognized him from somewhere, and approached almost immediately.

Lily clearly did not like the way the girls reacted to Severus, but she did not seem as irritated as before — as if she were already getting used to it.

Severus observed everything and knew that it was all interconnected. It was inevitable that certain people would approach him, even if only because of fragments of memories that remained in that timeline.

The two began to make conversation. Severus missed them; Clarice had always been a pure-blood who knew how to behave, but liked to voice her opinions, and Pandora was fun. They had not changed at all, and three decades without that had made Severus almost forget them.

The train finally began to move. Severus mentioned the family he had, and it immediately caught Clarice's attention.

Then, another girl entered the compartment. She was a third-year student.

She stared directly at Severus. "You are Severus Prince, aren't you?", she asked without hesitation.

Pandora and Lily did not know her, but Clarice Greengrass did.

"I am. Have you heard of me?", Severus asked in a calm tone, looking at the brunette.

Severus already knew that his family was known. He was the heir of the Prince. His name had already appeared in newspapers or in wizarding society gossip many times, after all, besides the scandals with his uncles going to Azkaban, Severus was the official heir to the greatest fortune in Great Britain and also with everyone expecting the famous potions talent that the family has carried over the centuries, now in his hands.

But no one should recognize him just by his appearance.

"Everyone is talking about you. The boy with magical purple eyes... Are they really magical?", she asked curiously. "By the way, I am Bellatrix Black," she introduced herself, seeming quite excited.

The redhead made a small grimace and stood up. "My sister talked about you! She said you're mean and insult her and her friends!", Lily exclaimed, staring at the girl.

"Who are you?", Bellatrix shot back with disdain.

"I am Lily Evans. And I don't want you near Severus," the redhead said in a challenging tone.

Lily might even have had some fragments related to Bellatrix, but she had not liked the way her sister had described her as one of the bad people from Slytherin, especially after hearing reports that she had bothered Petunia at Hogwarts.

"Oh, you're the sister of that Evans? The Muggle? So you're a mudblood!", Bellatrix declared, laughing.

The next moment, she froze. "You should not speak to people like that, Bellatrix," Severus's voice echoed.

The air around them grew heavy. All the girls felt the shift and stared at him in surprise, his eyes glowing.

"I know you were raised in an extremely strict family regarding blood purity. But I will not allow you to speak like that to my friends or acquaintances. Not even you, Bellatrix." He spoke as if he already knew her deeply.

Bellatrix felt a suffocating presence pressing against her, and terror flickered through her eyes for an instant.

"Now, how about sitting down and talking? I'm sure we can become friends," Severus said calmly the next moment, the air returning to normal as if nothing unusual had happened.

Bellatrix simply sat beside Clarisse, still watching Severus with heightened attention. Lily also sat down.

The other girls were still surprised by the turn of events. Severus opened a small smile, while Pandora clapped her hands and began to laugh, finding the whole situation unexpectedly amusing.

"I'm sure we can get along. But none of that blood purity talk. And I don't want you bothering Lily's sister anymore. Can you do that?", Severus asked calmly.

Bellatrix nodded carefully. Gradually, she relaxed as the conversation flowed during the journey some time later. She was far too interested in Severus to deny his request and was impressed by the knowledge he possessed.

The atmosphere had completely changed.

Severus knew it would only be a matter of time before Bellatrix set aside part of her arrogance. Perhaps never entirely, but enough to coexist even with Muggle-borns like Lily and Pandora.

He guided the conversation naturally, speaking about the Greengrass family, rare ingredients, business with the Black family, and explaining certain things to Lily and Pandora, who listened attentively.

At one point, two boys appeared at the compartment door, looking envious. It was unusual to see a boy surrounded by four girls, all chatting animatedly and casting admiring glances at him.

They were Potter and Black. They tried to belittle Severus with sarcastic comments out of pure jealousy.

But they were expelled from the compartment almost immediately by a spell from Severus, which made all the girls laugh and clap. The prefects received the complaint and went to see what was happening with four first-year students and one third-year student.

And upon seeing one of the Black sisters, the worst of them all, no prefect wanted to get involved. Lucius Malfoy appeared a moment later; he greeted Severus Prince enthusiastically, seeing a powerful connection with the boy who would have the greatest fortune in Great Britain in his hands.

Severus did not refuse the greeting, but he did not seem even slightly as enthusiastic as Lucius was.

When they arrived at Hogwarts, Petunia did not move away from Lily this time. And she certainly did not like at all seeing Bellatrix nearby, making sarcastic comments, while Bellatrix shot back, but did not dare insult Petunia in front of Severus.

She was even stunned when Severus simply forced Bellatrix to apologize to Petunia in front of several pure-bloods for the previous year.

Many of them did not like that at all. But Severus would deal with that later.

The Sorting happened the same way as in the other timeline.

When they reached the Great Hall, Severus was greeted by Dumbledore, who seemed excited to see him, returning to Hogwarts as an eleven-year-old child.

Severus was sorted into Slytherin. Petunia muttered something from the Ravenclaw table, and he simply gave her a small smile in return.

Lily went to Gryffindor.

Pandora to Ravenclaw.

Clarice was also sorted into Slytherin along with Severus, quite excited along with some girls at seeing the handsome boy with magical eyes in their House.

The Headmaster also introduced the new History of Magic professor, Rosaria Valenstein, who returned as a teacher to stay close to Severus.

The others went to the same Houses Severus remembered.

Outwardly, everything seemed less dark than in his first year in the other timeline. No one bothered Severus. He had an intimidating gaze that made even seventh-year students think twice before doing anything.

Besides that, the Prince name carried weight. Unlike the other timeline, now he carried a powerful surname, with influential connections, and no one wanted to become his enemy. They said that the Minister himself visited the Prince Manor many times.

Severus did not stay with his House, quickly joining Lily, Pandora, Clarice, and Bellatrix, forming a very strange group of little pure-blood and Muggle-born witches following Severus like little girlfriends, and the entire school began to talk about it.

However, on the second day, Severus saw some seventh-year students picking on half-bloods who had also entered Slytherin along with him. Even some fourth- and fifth-year students were persecuted for being half-blood and not having connections. The sixth- and seventh-year half-blood students seemed to hide in the shadows to avoid drawing the pure-bloods' attention.

And Lucius Malfoy, a fifth-year prefect, appeared shortly after to give him some 'advice'. "Perhaps a Prince does not need to walk around with Muggle-borns," Lucius said, referring to the fact that Severus had spent the first day talking with Pandora and Lily.

Severus did not respond. Later, he decided to make a few things very clear. In the Slytherin common room, he simply sat down in the main armchair, surprising the snakes around him, who looked at the first-year student cautiously, knowing that could not be a place for someone like him who had just arrived to sit.

"Hey, Prince, you shouldn't sit there," a fourth-year student muttered. "The seventh-years won't like that."

Severus did not care. He remained there, taking a book from his space to read, as if he were perfectly in his rightful place.

The stares began to accumulate. Some whispered, expecting trouble as they arrived in the common room, and more students tried to warn Severus, but he ignored them.

And then they came. A group of seventh- and sixth-year students approached.

"Wait. It's not smart to mess with a Prince," Lucius intervened, trying to restrain the older students.

"Lucius, I even understand how powerful the Princes are... but this boy is acting like he owns Slytherin just because he just arrived," one of the seventh-years grumbled, walking past a worried Lucius.

They crossed their arms in front of Severus, who remained seated, flipping through the book as if he did not notice them.

"Mr. Prince, should I presume that you do not know your place?", the seventh-year called out.

Severus slowly closed the book and lifted his eyes to look at him. "What is it?", he asked calmly.

Some frowned at the simplicity of the response.

"Heir Prince, it seems you do not recognize your place in Slytherin," the older one continued.

Severus merely raised an eyebrow. With a small movement, he made the book disappear.

Those staring at him were startled by the silent magic, without wands and without words.

"That's true. Perhaps I have not made this clear to everyone. But it is good that you are here, because Slytherin will change starting today," Severus declared.

Bellatrix and the two sisters had also arrived at that moment. Bellatrix stared at him in surprise — and slight concern.

"What do you mean by that, Lord Prince?", the seventh-year asked, narrowing his eyes and not liking that tone at all, thinking the Prince heir was a spoiled boy.

Severus observed that enough people had gathered to make a few things very clear.

His eyes began to glow. Suddenly, the chair he was sitting on began to levitate.

Everyone was stunned.

"First: enough of this pure-blood nonsense. No one in Slytherin will have permission to think they are better than Muggle-borns. You may keep your prejudices, but you will not harm anyone. Not without consequences." The air began to grow heavy.

"Second: no more intimidating younger Slytherin students. Starting today, I will not allow anyone to do that. Half-blood or not."

Severus released a fraction of his power. That day, every Slytherin student felt what it was like to stand before someone capable of making the castle itself tremble.

Some could barely breathe.

That... was real power.

After that, Severus cast a spell that spread throughout Hogwarts.

Anyone who said "mudblood" would immediately feel their mouth fill with a repulsive taste — of filth — as if they were chewing it over and over.

The first unfortunate ones served as examples in the following days.

As soon as they uttered the word, they began to vomit, feeling intense nausea and a horrible taste that did not fade easily.

The change was immediate.

From that year on, Slytherin students were no longer as intimidating as before.

Everyone feared Severus Prince.

No one knew where Severus had so much power from; people immediately whispered about him not even being human. Some complained to the Headmaster, who simply pretended not to hear.

In the first months, even some parents were informed. Some tried to intervene, claiming that all Slytherin students were being intimidated by a monster. Because Severus only needed to use his telekinesis with mere thoughts and he would put all more than 140 Slytherin students on their knees.

But those same families ended up finding young Severus standing inside their own homes. Some fell to their knees immediately just from his presence.

Others swore they had seen millions of creatures in the shadows, staring at them in silence — as if they were merely waiting for an order to destroy anyone who dared challenge their king.

The wizarding world realized at that moment that there was someone they should never meddle with, no matter how powerful and wealthy their family was; before Severus Prince, they were nothing.
