The former director of the Cleanup Bureau was unaware of his own shift in attitude, perhaps a result of the badge's effect. As he continued to speak more and more nonsensically, even asking Leon if he was considering divorce after learning that he was married, Taurus's board member's face immediately darkened.
"You only have a chance to avoid death now, that doesn't mean you're definitely safe! Hurry back to your Old Soil and stay alive first!"
"I know."
The Cleanup Bureau director wasn't angry at being yelled at. He gave Leon an appreciative look and happily replied:
"Aren't I just trying to be prepared? Just in case we do get an alliance, if I happen to not make it back alive from Old Soil, someone could take care of my great-granddaughter, right?"
"..."
