Bai Xiaosheng nodded and smiled, "Then thank you, Sister Dong."
"We're family, no need to be polite," said Dong Tianlu.
As she spoke, Dong Tianlu was also preparing to take her leave.
But before she could lift her foot, her phone rang.
"I'll take a call first," Dong Tianlu said apologetically to Bai Xiaosheng as she took out her phone.
Bai Xiaosheng made a "please go ahead" gesture and returned to his desk.
Dong Tianlu answered the call while walking toward the corner of the room.
Lin Weiwei didn't disturb Dong Tianlu but instead handed the report she was supposed to deliver to Bai Xiaosheng.
Less than a minute later, Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei simultaneously heard an angry and shocked voice from Dong Tianlu, "What! Say that again!"
Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei exchanged a bewildered glance and looked toward Dong Tianlu's direction.
Dong Tianlu was not an ordinary person, composed and unemotional, yet she was losing her composure today.
