Otaru stared at his queen, the woman sitting on a mundane chair that meant absolutely nothing to her.
It made no sense that Sakura would be here, much less stay this long in the human realm. If this had been about Elif and the others, they would not have bothered to cross over.
Which was why, as Tsuki was out to get them reports from the previous security team, Otaru stared at her.
Really stared.
"If you have something to say, say it," Sakura said as she checked the documents before her. She had this unamused look that told Otaru this office wasn't what they had come for, which didn't make it any better because Otaru knew his queen.
She was up to something.
"You didn't come here for Elif," Otaru stated, as a matter of fact.
He had been trying to wrap his head around a few facts, and while the Tetsuyas were family, Otaru was Sakura's best friend.
The one who knew what she looked like happy, angry, and sad.
