He discovered the restriction when he attempted to finalize Valhalla. The realm passed every test involving death, restoration, voluntary departure, battle protection, and return routing. The final approval still failed.

Max opened the explanation. Any location capable of containing his dungeon core had to remain reachable by a living intruder. Afterlife Authority allowed him to hide the route, divide it into stages, guard it, and make it extraordinarily difficult. It did not allow him to create a destination that could only be reached by dying.
The restriction did not bother him. It gave the afterlives another use.
Living entrances could become some of the most difficult secrets in the dungeon.
