The beast rushed and bit onto her sword. He filled it with his chaotic energy, launching a splash attack, but nothing worked.
"Grhhh!!" He threw the sword to the ground in pain; his jaw was seriously hurt, and blood was rushing out of his mouth.
She took a step, then thrust her energy blade multiple times into the beast's body; with each attack, the beast's body moved a few centimeters back. In a final attack, she concentrated her energy and thrusted her blade.
The beast's body moved few meters; the area exploded in dust, covering the sight. She grabbed her sword; the blackish energy on the sword started to react with her hand. Within a few seconds, that blackish energy disappeared from the blade.
Bluish energy dispersed the dust particles; her sword was already touching the ground. Root-like structures pushed her three to four meters. She didn't wait; her energy increased around her feet, pushing her into the ground.
The beast jumped on time; her attack missed, creating a small crater on the ground.
She used her body power to pull the sword, but it was stuck. The beast started growling towards her. His fur started to move; tiny, pointed things started appearing on his fur.
Her grip on the sword tightened; multiple roots, each a meter thick, appeared on the edges of the crater, while one, thin compared to the others but rich in color, was a few centimeters in front of her.
Two root-like structures started waving in front of her while the others were just there.
The pointed things on the beast's body launched towards her.
Thousands of needle-like things rushed towards her at high speed. Roots started to crack under the impact of those needles; some of them pushed through, but those roots quickly repaired themselves.
Those needles that made it through cracked when they collided with that root in front of her.
She moved the root-like structures; a root which had a reach of about 14 meters slammed onto the beast. The beast jumped.
Running around, he continued blasting multiple needles at her. Roots moved around, deflecting all those needles. Roots moved around the crater boundary, making a wall with roots.
The beast smiled; he jumped over the wall. In mid-air, he was ready to attack again.
"Swish," he instantly blasted his beam; his trajectory changed a bit. A bluish spear barely missed him.
In mid-air, he launched his attack; he saw a thin, thread-like substance leave her fingertip. Before he could understand, "Booom!!!" the spear exploded around him. The shockwave moved across his fur; those needles dropped to the ground.
He exploded his energy, launching towards her at a high speed. He made his body into the shape of a drip and started spinning.
The ground below his feet collapsed.
"Grrrhhhhhhh," he roared as a root multiple meters long pierced his entire body, going through his head.
He resolved it within few seconds, but his wounds were still healing. While she was around the distance of the hole's mouth, she jumped into the sky; taking aim, she threw a spear towards him. The spear's size increased with each second.
The beast blasted his beam onto the ground; his body rushed out of the hole. His body was halfway through when the spearhead split into multiple tiny, spear-like things. Those pierced his body; he lost focus, and as a result, he fell to the ground. A tiny thread slipped from her finger again.
All those tiny spears exploded; some of them were inside his body, resulting in tiny holes. Black smoke rushed out of those holes.
His face was severely damaged; it fell to the ground, releasing blackish smoke. His eyes were on the ground; he lost all sense of sight, sound, and smell.
The beast's energy exploded; shockwaves moved across the area. The ground collapsed; soil rushed to fill the hole. The beast blasted a destruction beam towards her; using the same beam, he pushed his body out of the hole.
She tried to jump out, but the soil absorbed her force. She was barely able to maintain balance on the falling soil. She moved all her energy towards her arms and front part; using her sword on her arm, she took the beam head-on. A layer of dust formed in front of her.
