Nurarihyon looks at the massive arena prepared for the fight with a massive grin on his face. He is planning to meet the person who makes someone as wild as Yasaka fall in love. However, with this happening, not only will he meet him but also see how powerful this Vale is.
The first one to enter the arena is the Oni. Nurarihyon is among the few who know Ibaraki Douji personally. He even fought the monster a few times before. Each time, he needs to retreat, and only once is he able to get the upper hand, but he requires the help of the Onmyouji and other Youkai factions.
He doesn't know how powerful this Kujo is, but he can feel a raging touki inside the Oni.
Fugen's faction roars in approval as the Oni flexes his muscle and flares his touki, showing off his power for others to see. However, it stops when Lady Inari calls his opponent. Vale enters the arena like a shinigami, silent and deadly.
The corridor is already frozen, and the temperature in the arena reaches freezing point. Nurarihyon can see his breath, and he can feel the hint of divinity coming from Vale as he shows off his power.
Vale's white fur glistens under the sun, and the smoky ribbon surrounds him like a protective scarf. Vale himself is in his human-beast transformation mode and changes back to his human form when he arrives before his opponent.
Kujo sneers at him and looks at him with a bloodthirsty expression while Vale looks very bored. It makes Kujo even angrier and ready to attack him, but he stops when he sees Inari appear between the two of them.
"Both fighters, are you ready?"
They nod their heads.
"Take your corner."
Vale turns around and stands on the far side of the arena. Kujo does the same. Seeing that both fighters are ready, Inari moves her hand and says.
"The Battle of Champion officially starts! Now!"
When she disappears from the arena, something happens—an invisible weight presses against everyone. The sky darkens, it forms a swirl, and lightning starts to rumble. Vale releases an aura and red lightning as he releases the full might of his Supreme King Haki.
The weak-willed person falls to the ground, foam spewing from their mouth. The stronger ones struggle to breathe, and the one who can handle the pressure is sweating under the presence of Vale's Supreme King Haki.
"Ha!"
With a mighty roar, the ground underneath Vale cracks, and his hands turn black, alongside the kanabo in his hand. The ground explodes as Vale dashes forward. Kujo widens his eyes when he sees Vale disappear, but he is too late to do anything as Vale appears in front of him.
"Raimei Hakke!"
Vale swings his kanabo at Kujo, and when the blunt weapon hits its target, an explosion of lightning and haki happens. Kujo screams in pain as his body gets thrown to the wall behind him. If not for the powerful barrier around the arena, his body would have punched through the wall and been thrown hundreds of meters away.
However, because of the barrier, the wall is safe, but the entire arena shakes from the impact.
The people look at the opening move in shock as Kujo slowly stands up while throwing up a pool of blood from his mouth. His insides are damaged by Vale's advanced haki technique, Internal Destruction.
Kujo glares at Vale, who looks at me with a neutral expression, devoid of anything. He circulates his natural energy and heals his innards before standing up. With a roar, he dashes toward Vale, who welcomes him with an attack.
The two of them clash in close combat. Both of them use kanabo clubs as weapons and use them masterfully. Many think of kanabo as a barbarian weapon; that is true, but when a master uses it, it can be even more devastating.
Kujo grins as his adrenaline goes through the roof at the intense and fast battle. His Oni blood sings with joy when fighting strong opponents. His bloodlust goes through the roof, and he uses everything he has against Vale.
The two of them exchange blows for another two minutes before Kujo releases a powerful swing, then jumps away from Vale to take a breath. He grits his teeth when he sees that Vale is not as beaten as he is. He receives clean hits from Vale, but he cannot land a clean hit.
Kujo takes a deep breath and uses his Youjutsu to release a torrent of purple flame. Vale claps his hand, releases a series of hand seals, cups his hand in front of his mouth, and says.
"Fire Release: Big Flame Bullet"
A second later, a massive stream of fire comes out of his mouth and face against the purple flame head-on. After a few seconds of fighting, Vale's flame comes out on top because he starts to tap into Senjutsu.
Vale frowns a little when he feels something subtle change in the air. Without wasting any time, he obeys his instinct and Observation Haki and jumps away from the purple flame. When he dodges the purple flame, he notices something. He notices a foreign energy that enchants the purple flame, allowing it to eat through his flame.
"Bloodline limit, huh?"
"Heh. Bloodline limit… I like the sound of that. Yes. This is the power my ancestor bestows upon me! With this power, I shall kill you!"
Vale looks at his opponent with a frown and decides to go all out. He decides to turn into a human-beast mode, absorb all the natural energy to enter sage mode, and dash forward. He swings his kanabo and releases a flurry of attacks at the Oni, who block his attack.
However, after a few seconds, Vale jumps away when he feels the same energy coat Kujo's weapon and is about to eat through his weapon.
Kujo grins at Vale as his body is now fully coated with the Oni Hell Flame. It is a corrosive armor that destroys the attacker who makes contact with the flame.
"Oh. You know about them. What a shame. However, knowing will not save you!"
"It is."
He dashes forward once again and swings his kanabo at Kujo, who is laughing at him.
"You fool! I will burn you!"
Two kanabo meet each other and create a massive shockwave. Red lightning is coming from Vale's attack while Kujo pumps his Oni Hell Flame at the attack, attempting to destroy Vale before he gets destroyed.
They continue to exchange blows, attacking each other with all their powers. Kujo knows that he cannot land a clean hit without sacrificing something, and so he deliberately creates an opening for Vale to take. His grin gets bigger when Vale falls into his trap, and he has the opening for him to land a clean hit.
He releases a blast of Oni Hell Flame directly at Vale. However, his grin vanishes when he sees a crack appear on Vale's body.
"Kagamiyama"
An ice armor falls to the ground and vanishes into the air, eaten by the flame.
Vale do not fall into a trap. It is Kujo who falls into the trap Vale creates. With a quick hand seal, the ground melted into a dark mud.
"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld"
Half of his body sinks into the mud, and Kujo has a hard time getting out of the swamp that keeps sucking him deeper the more he moves. He looks up and sees his kanabo rise, red lightning dances around it, and after a few seconds, a strong shockwave explodes from his body.
"Shinsoku Hakujaku!"
Vale dashes forward, and the people watching watch as a massive white serpent forms from the energy he releases. He stops mid-dash, cracking the ground beneath him and swinging his kanabo at Kujo.
The white serpent roars and continues to fly toward the struggling Oni, as he cannot remove his hands to block the attack.
Seeing the impending doom coming at him, Kujo grits his teeth and shouts.
"I forfeit!"
After he says that, a pure white barrier appears in front of him and the massive white snake. The snake collides with the barrier, triggering a massive explosion. The ground breaks apart, creating a massive crater in the arena, except for the area protected by the barrier.
Inari appears in front of Kujo and looks at Vale, who is changing into his human-beast form. His eyes are still golden from the Sage Mode that is slowly deactivating. She gives him a nod of respect as she looks at him with a new light.
She does not like brute-type people, but strength attracts.
"Winner! Valerian Millefiore!"
