"You recognize it, but I don't," Mo Ang glared at her furiously, his eyes bloodshot with anger.
An Ning looked up at him. "Whether you recognize it or not doesn't matter, as long as I do."
Then they fell into a tense silence.
An Ning saw from his eyes that he truly wanted to strangle her.
This feeling… hmm, it was really exhilarating.
Just when she thought he was really going to do it, Mo Ang suddenly conceded, saying, "I told you, if you really insist on remarriage, I can marry you!"
An Ning shook her head again. "I gave you a chance yesterday, but you didn't cherish it, and you broke my heart. I must make you understand this now: I, too, have a temper, and I have dignity. I'm not someone you can marry or discard at your whim."
With that, she forcefully freed herself from his grip.
Mo Ang continued to glare at her, threatening, "You better not be willful, or the consequences will be beyond what you can handle."
