Weeks had passed since Hamleth had fallen, but what should've been a furnace of rebellion has been snuffed out to but a flicker. Raven's ventures through the empire of Hamleth and the centaurian's diplomacy had struck such a balance that the god-fearing folks of the empire, with the exception of those in Charammer, had agreed to fall under the grace of another god. However, it was him they praised, the new god of law instead of Athenia. A fact Raven's wasn't quite fond of just yet.
Only after becoming a god did he realize the reason why gods remain mostly impartial to human suffering, for every hand he would try to extend to the people of his newfound faith would cripple them from within. Making them rely on him more than they would rely on each other and themselves.
