Varesh's expression remained calm as he carefully controlled the strength of every Sword Blade.
As mentioned previously, he wasn't trying to destroy the whole formation. His actual target was the Array Eye responsible for maintaining this isolation layer.
He wanted to push it to its limit and make the formation master feel the pressure.
More importantly, he wanted the Array Eye assigned to the isolation layer that trapped him to temporarily lose its ability to function normally. That would inevitably affect the Array Core.
However, Varesh had no intention of destroying the Array Eye completely.
If he did, the damage would be transmitted to the Array Core. And once the Array Core was damaged, the entire formation could suffer irreversible consequences.
That wasn't something Varesh wanted.
