After working for over ten minutes, Mi Xiaotao finally cleaned up her desk and tidied up her computer, and it was still running when she powered it on, saving herself the trouble of repairs.
She picked up her cup, intending to go to the break room to get some hot water to drink. Just as she reached the door, she heard voices inside discussing something that seemed to be about her, making her stop instinctively.
"Hey, did you see that new girl, Mi Xiaotao? I heard she skipped the new employee training and went directly to the department for reporting!"
A somewhat sharp voice spoke up with a tone of disdain, "People who sneak in like this are the most annoying!"
"Exactly! Sister Tian, I remember when we went through the new employee training; it almost skinned us alive!"
Voice A spoke.
Voice B continued, "She probably used a backdoor! I heard her major doesn't even match our department, yet she got hired just like that!"
