A black hole and Void Creatures are, in some respects, the same thing; both devour everything and destroy everything.
However, when a black hole devours to the extreme, it can explode again, giving birth to a new universe and new stars. But when devoured by a Void Creature, it becomes eternal nothingness.
In terms of energy levels, they are almost the same. Equally invincible, equally indecipherable.
Previously, the Void Master was too gigantic, too powerful, for the black hole singularity of the Nameless Sword to successfully devour him. However, the Void Master created a massive vortex which also exposed his core point, the most vulnerable point of the Void Master, his soul core and power core.
This provided an opportunity for the singularity of the Nameless Sword to devour.
