Chapter 166 - Dominant Raditz, Blows Up the Spaceship

I am back~

======

Universe 7 – Earth

After confirming the coordinates, the Z-Fighters swiftly advanced and soon arrived at the area where Babidi's spaceship was hidden.

"Hmph! So it's buried underground, and fused into the earth with a special energy. No wonder even our divine senses couldn't detect it."

Standing atop a nearby mountain, Raditz crossed his arms and sneered with arrogance.

Clearly, now that they had found their target, Raditz, already itching for a fight, was ready to cut loose.

"Uh... are we really just going in like this? Is that okay?" Krillin spoke up hesitantly.

Once again, backing out at the last moment, typical Krillin. At critical times, he always second-guessed himself.

Even though he believed he was stronger than the Supreme Kai, they still didn't know the enemy's full power. Everything they knew came from the Kai's descriptions.

"If you were scared, you shouldn't have come in the first place! I already said Kakarot and I are more than enough to handle Babidi and the demon king. As for Majin Buu? Probably nothing special either."

Raditz barked, silencing Krillin, who turned pale but couldn't argue, Raditz's strength far surpassed his.

Gazing pitifully at Goku, Krillin hoped he'd step in. Understanding Krillin's look perfectly, Goku quickly mediated,

"Big bro, don't say that. Krillin's just being cautious."

"Hmph! With your power and mine, do you really think that demon king or Majin Buu could stand a chance?" Raditz scoffed, then leapt from the mountain.

The rest of the group had no choice but to follow.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Kai and Kibito felt utterly awkward.

This situation was nothing like what they'd anticipated, they had no idea what would happen next.

They arrived before a protruding rock formation.

Had they not been told this was the spaceship's entrance, no one would've guessed this ordinary-looking boulder was a disguise.

Without knowing how to break the concealment or how to get inside, the Supreme Kai stepped forward to explain Babidi's spaceship.

Oddly enough, even though he couldn't locate Babidi for years, he knew the spaceship well.

"So, according to you, if we destroy the spaceship, Majin Buu might instantly revive?" Goku asked in disbelief.

Even Goku had to wonder, If it were that simple, why didn't Babidi just blow up his own ship?

And if a mere explosion could revive Buu, why collect pure energy at all?

There was no clear answer…

The Kai nodded, but clearly, he had never thought that far.

His blind belief in that theory had allowed Babidi to grow unchecked, and missed countless chances to stop him.

In truth, he'd simply been frightened by Babidi's bluff.

Fearing Buu's revival in any form, he avoided all risks.

Someone who understood this perfectly was Lin Chuan, with knowledge of the original timeline.

Had Lin Chuan been there, he would've blasted the spaceship immediately, knowing full well Buu wouldn't awaken from it.

It was all just a bluff from Babidi, meant to protect himself from the Supreme Kai in the early stages.

Of course, if Buu did awaken, it'd just save time.

"In that case, I'll just blow it up! No need to waste time!"

Without hesitation, Raditz prepared to attack.

If Majin Buu revived, so what? He'd just wipe him out, less trouble that way.

"Don't be rash! You don't understand how terrifying Buu is.." the Supreme Kai tried to stop him.

But Raditz was beyond being stopped.

Goku, Gohan, Tien, and Krillin couldn't react fast enough. They could only power up and flee the area.

The Supreme Kai and Kibito, shocked, used instant transmission to escape.

Raditz soared high into the air. Terrifying energy gathered in his palm. With just a casual energy wave, he unleashed power greater than any of his past full-powered attacks.

The massive energy beam descended, catching Babidi and Dabura completely off guard.

Babidi could only react by casting a spell to teleport everyone out of the spaceship.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

A colossal explosion erupted, a mushroom cloud tens of thousands of meters tall shook the sky.

The ground was torn apart. Flames engulfed everything.

Under such force, the spaceship was utterly obliterated.

Even if it had absolute shielding, it wouldn't have withstood Raditz's terrifying blast.

Watching the ship be destroyed, the Supreme Kai didn't dwell on Raditz's power, his soul felt as though it had plunged into an abyss,

"It's over… It's over… Majin Buu will be revived… With Lin Chuan gone, Earth… Earth will be destroyed…"

"Lord Supreme Kai." Kibito supported his trembling master, worry all over his face.

The two remained trapped in their own fearful worldview.

But at least one thing they firmly believed, Lin Chuan was strong enough to defeat Majin Buu.

The impact of Lin Chuan's strength had been so overwhelming, the Kai no longer questioned it.

Unfortunately, they couldn't accept anyone else as capable.

Only hard facts would wake them up.

In the original story, the Kai and Kibito remained hesitant until Goku destroyed Buu with the Spirit Bomb.

Now, surrounded by them, Goku, Gohan, Tien, and Krillin were getting fed up with their cowardice.

They didn't know how strong Buu was, but seriously, the Supreme Kai? This was just embarrassing.

Even Goku started getting angry.

"What do you mean 'it's over'? What do you mean without Lin Chuan, Earth will be destroyed?"

Maybe in the past, Goku would've accepted that.

But now? Even he wasn't sure how strong he had become.

Some random Majin Buu? Not a big deal.

The Kai's comment basically dismissed all their years of training.

"Lord Supreme Kai, I think you should stop talking. What's done is done. Face reality! And also, what you just said was disrespectful. Even without Lin Chuan, Earth still has us to protect it!"

Goku's words hit hard. The Kai's expression changed dramatically.

Once again, a Saiyan's words wounded him deeply.

Even Tien couldn't hold back,

"A few years ago, maybe I had no right to speak, but now, even if I'm not on par with you, Raditz, or Lin Chuan, I still have confidence."

"And seeing how afraid you are of Majin Buu, now I'm really curious. How strong is he, exactly? He better not be weak. If someone like me could beat him, then Lord Supreme Kai and Kibito… you'd have reason to fear me too."

Krillin's words made both the Kai and Kibito turn bright red.

Among everyone here, Krillin was the weakest.

If even Krillin was saying that, were they being reduced to ants?

Before the Kai or Kibito could respond,

Goku used divine power to scan the surroundings, locking onto a presence,

"I do sense an extremely evil energy… but it's faint, and weak. If that's all it is… I'm a little disappointed."

Majin Buu… was too weak.

Goku was sure he wasn't mistaken. Even if it was just a sleeping Buu's aura, it was pathetically weak.

Which made sense, Fat Buu's strength was only in the tens of billions, while Goku's current base power was in the trillions.

After becoming gods, Goku and Raditz had transformed drastically, even more than Vegeta's Super Saiyan 4 boost.

Not to mention, they'd trained for three years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber after their ascension.

When Vegeta came out back then, he had only just broken into the trillions, around 5 trillion.

After fighting Piccolo and Lin Chuan, he finally reached the hundreds of trillions.

Even though Vegeta had greatly improved over the past year, Goku and Raditz's overall growth still surpassed his.

Vegeta, Piccolo, and Lin Chuan were just currently one step ahead.

"That faint evil aura? Yeah, it's dark, but… to someone like you, Goku, it's nothing."

Krillin chuckled.

"Besides that evil energy, there are other signatures. Most are average, but one stands out, that must be Dabura," Tien added.

Though they couldn't see anything, their senses gave them a rough idea.

Meanwhile, the Kai and Kibito were still in a daze.

They sensed nothing. Just listening left them confused.

Even with divine training, their power was far too weak.

In the sky,

Raditz stood tall, his sharp eyes scanning the ground. He had already locked onto his targets.

"Hmph! This is it? Trash!"

With that, he descended, not even bothering to wait for the explosion to subside.

With a wave of his arm, a massive gust blew away the smoke and flames.

The landscape was devastated, what used to be flat land was now a terrifying abyss, tens of kilometers wide.

At the edge of this chasm,

Babidi gasped for air, trying to suppress his fear.

Just moments ago, he had been thrilled, the Kai had brought Earthlings to their death, and now he could finally avenge his father and himself.

He never expected to run into a bunch of lunatics.

He and Dabura had planned to lure them inside and drain their energy for Majin Buu.

Before he could even open the spaceship door, one of them just blasted the whole thing to hell.

That blast?

Babidi had no idea, that was just a casual flick from Raditz.

"Lord Babidi, are you alright?" Dabura stood by his side, unwavering in loyalty.

Despite being a warrior in the hundreds of billions, Dabura was completely obedient to Babidi.

"Of course I'm fine! If I wasn't, you'd all be dead with me!" Babidi barked.

Then he glared at Raditz in the distance,

"That bastard destroyed my ship! I want him dead! Dabura! Yakon! Pui Pui! Sansa! And Paragus, you, too! Tell your son to fight!"

His rage peaked as he glanced at Majin Buu's cocoon,

"Good… at least I saved Majin Buu in time!"

"Heh… don't worry, Lord Babidi. They'll pay the price. But for now, let others fight first. I need to stay by your side to protect you."

Dabura was dutiful, but also strategic.

If they all charged in, no one would guard Babidi, and the Kai might seize the chance.

Babidi felt a chill, thankfully Dabura reminded him.

"Very well! Yakon, Pui Pui, Sansa, kill that Earthling!"

The three, still seething from nearly being obliterated, charged forward with rage.

"Watch, Lord Babidi, I'll make him my next meal!" Yakon roared, claws extended.

"The guy's just a low-level human. I could crush him in an instant," Pui Pui boasted.

He possessed a power level in the hundreds of billions, believing himself invincible on his own planet. If only he had a ship, he thought he'd already be ruling the stars.

"Don't be careless. He destroyed the spaceship and nearly killed us. Even if that drained most of his energy, he's not alone," warned Sansa, a humanoid creature with a human-like appearance.
