After some time, I left the room. The moment I did Nerissa and Rhapso were naturally waiting for me.
"Is everything alright, Apollo? Is Hailey alright?" Nerissa asked me.
"I-uh- Yeah. Hailey is fine. But I think she needs some time to herself. We should head back to Valerica's- Oh! Actually first. I should go and pick up my other clothes I left in the changing room. Then we can go.
The duo had no complaints with that and in no time we had got into a shuttle and were flying back to Valerica's.
My thoughts lingered on Hailey... I felt really bad. The last thing I wanted to do after all that fun was give her a panic attack.
I really did assume she had thought about the idea of her mum coming back. It was the first thing I thought about when she said she could reincarnate...
I shrugged my shoulders. She needed space to collect her thoughts. We still left with a kiss and a cuddle so she wasn't upset with me or anything. She just needed space to think.
