She could feel the heat radiating from his body growing stronger with every passing second, and she was almost certain that if she didn't stop him now, their little kiss would turn into something far more difficult to pull away from.
Rafael paused, his gaze lingering on her with obvious reluctance.
Hera gave him a knowing look, silently reminding him that she had somewhere to be.
Only then did he finally loosen his hold on her.
"Zhane and Dave have woken up," Rafael said, resting his forehead gently against hers as he slowly tried to calm himself down.
God, it was difficult.
