I slowly began to regain consciousness after losing it. My first sensations were not pain and heaviness, as one would expect after such an event, but rather - lightness! But it lasted only a fraction of a second; immediately after that, a sharp pain erupted in my chest, where the impact had landed. Due to this pain, my eyes snapped open, and a bright, blinding beam of light struck them.
After blinking a few times, trying to focus my vision and adjust to the light, I managed to see where I was. I was lying on something soft, and in front of me stood four people, blocking my view. One woman and three men.
"Where am I?" I whispered, but my voice sounded hoarse and weak.
These people exchanged glances before one of them began to speak, likely the leader among them. He had rather soft facial features framed by long light hair, over which floated a golden halo. His eyes had a bright green hue, yet they seemed to carry immense sadness.
"You're at our home, young man."
Home? Where is that? I wanted to immediately ask these questions, but I decided against it. I slowly tried to sit up, but I felt a sharp pain in my chest again. I grimaced and quietly hissed through my teeth.
At this, an extraordinarily beautiful woman with curly light hair turned her attention to me. She gently lowered herself beside my head and carefully supported me with one hand. Meanwhile, in her other hand, a small light circle with lines and runes formed, emanating a soft glow.
She brought it to my chest, causing it to emit a bright flash and dissolve into countless particles. This brought me unprecedented relief, and all the pain radiating from my chest slowly faded away, allowing me to take a deep breath.
"Are you feeling better now?" she asked with a tender and compassionate smile.
"Yes, thanks to you!" I sincerely thanked her, smiling at her so warmly that she blushed.
It seemed as if she blossomed, covered with a gentle blush that made her look like a sweet little angel that one would want to protect from all the hardships of the world.
However, her delicate and innocent face, full of genuine shyness, slightly contradicted her figure, which was perfect in every way. It was a combination that simultaneously surprised and delighted. She had a slim waist, thinner than many models in my world, gracefully curving as if sculpted by an artist. Her long, beautiful legs seemed capable of walking the runway of any famous brand, drawing attention and inspiring envy.
And perhaps the most striking aspect of her appearance, the one that made my heart beat faster, was her bosom. It was so full and perfect that it barely fit into her dress. The fabric was stretched to its limit, highlighting every seductive line, hinting at hidden strength and passion. It was the pure body of a succubus from the books, brought to life, yet framed with such angelic innocence that it seemed impossible.
Thanks to her help, I was able to rise and get a better look at where I was. I found myself in a strange, bright space where clouds floated nearby, and in the distance, one could see a majestic golden castle. I stood near some grand, huge gates behind which an enormous staircase rose endlessly. Everything about the place hinted at some inviolability and sanctity!
"Am I dead?" I asked, confused.
"No, young man! But I think you were very close to it," another man decided to respond to me calmly, albeit in a joking manner. "Now, may I ask who you are and what you've forgotten in heaven?"
"I… I don't know," I mumbled, feeling a lump rise in my throat. "I only remember… an accident. And then a bright light, and… that's all."
I decided to partially lie, after all, I can't tell them that I'm from another world; who knows what they might do to me. They might mistake me for an intruder and cut me down on the spot!
"My name is Daniel."
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Daniel," the same man greeted me . - I am Uriel, one of the four great seraphim. And these next to me are my brothers Raphael and Michael. And the girl who healed you is Gabriil.
Wow, I've really been thrown into a sanctuary of angels. And right next to the most famous ones, too. I'm curious which universe they belong to. But I guess I understand that already, considering these elevated mountains of Gabriil.
"Young friend, where are you from? You are also an angel, but nothing is known about you," began Michael. "You are not even listed in the system, although that is impossible, as it displays all angels, both born and created!" These words shocked his companions!
What should I even respond to that?
"I'm from a small, very remote place, where I lived with my adoptive family," I started my almost true story, though I feel like they won't believe it.
"I only recently discovered who I am; just one moment, I woke up and found these majestic and beautiful wings on my back, and the next, I was already here."
"Hmm," Raphael sighed thoughtfully. "I'm not sure, but maybe he's sleeping blood, or something like that. But I've never heard of such a thing."
"Maybe it was done by a father?" Gabriil naively inquired, already looking at me with pity.
"Anything's possible, but what are we going to do next?" Uriel asked. "He's not ordinary. I think you can all feel that?"
"You're right, he's weird. You can feel both the great power of light and the dense vitality in it," Mikhail continued.
"Let's leave him?" their sister exclaimed excitedly.
Um, honestly, it sounded like I was some kind of pet! But in principle, I don't mind staying, as being under the supervision of these four will be of great benefit to me!
"Oh, well, you'll stay here for now! Sister, take him to the spare room," Mikhail answered her with a sigh.
This is a good start! I wonder if this is the same world and at what point is the plot it?
It's been a few days since I got here, and they haven't been very diverse. During this time, I tried to contact the system, but it was silent. I wonder what happened to it? I still haven't been able to confirm my suspicions about this world, but I was able to find out about my specific location and division of this dimension!
To begin with, I am now in the abode of angels and the Biblical God, in simple words, "Heaven." It is divided into seven levels:
1. The first heaven is a place where the reborn and lower-class angels live.
2. The second heaven is a territory filled with endless darkness. It is intended for angels who have committed sin and are deprived of freedom, in fact, a local prison.
3. The third heaven is a place for people on the web.
4. The fourth heaven is the Garden of Eden from the legends.
5. The fifth heaven is where the scientific laboratories are located (according to some lack of evidence from the angels, there used to be something else.
6. The sixth heaven is the current "heart" of the headquarters of Heaven. That's exactly where I am.
7. The seventh heaven is the abode of God, but according to the angels, he has been dead for a very long time.
"Daniel, come with me, we have a conversation for you!" Gabriil ran into my room!
"Good!"
During my short stay here, I had the best relationship with her, because she was too simple and naive. She had a very sweet trait, she adored everything new, and since she rarely came down from Heaven, due to the fact that Mikhail, Raphael, and Uriel having a brotherly complex, I became something new and unusual for her. So she often came by just to talk and learn about how I had lived before. There was a lot to honestly tell her, as I was already living my second life!
Now she brought me into a small room that I had never been in before. This room resembled an office very much. In the center, as it should be, stood a massive table. Behind it, in a deep armchair, sat Mikhail. He raised his gaze to me, and something of light displeasure flickered in his eyes.
"I wonder why he always looks at me like that?"
Right in front of the table, two sofas stood opposite each other, with a small tea table in between. Along the perimeter of the office were bookshelves.
"Take a seat," Mikhail gestured to the sofa.
After I sat on the sofa, Gabriil sat down next to me, while Mikhail took a seat opposite.
"Daniel, my brothers and I have decided that it's time to start your training! A true angel must know how to use all his abilities and be aware of our duties. Do you agree?"
He asked, of course, but his voice was such that it seemed like he was saying, "Dare to refuse!"
"I completely agree!" I exclaimed. "To be honest, I wanted to ask about this myself but didn't know how!"
"Good, then your training will begin tomorrow. I will take care of your knowledge related to theory, Raphael will teach you how to wield weapons and will also handle your physical training. Uriel will try to teach you how to use your life force since he is the best at controlling and using energy."
"And what about me&" Gabriil said, puffing out her cheeks and speaking with indignation.
"Okay, you will teach him magical spells and how to use them!"
"And now go rest, tomorrow you start" with these words he kicked us out the door!
The next morning did not begin with a gentle sunbeam breaking through the curtains, and not even from the tender whisper of a loved one, which is basically impossible. No. I was woken up in the most vulgar way.
I was doused with a bucket of icy water, which made me jump out of bed and fall to the floor face down.
"Ouch! What the…" I coughed, spitting out the icy water, and struggled to get to my feet.
Standing next to me, with an empty bucket in his hands, was Raphael - my future personal hellish trainer.
"Good morning, sleepyhead!" he cheerfully proclaimed. "It's time to save the world!"
"What World. Aren't we supposed to be training?" I rubbed my sleepy eyes, turning to him with indignation.
"That's not important. I'll be waiting for you outside in five minutes!"
With these words and a creepy grin on his face, he left my room, and I decided not to tempt fate and stood outside in front of him exactly five minutes later.
"Well, let's start with a warm-up" he said to me with a grin on his face. "The warm-up is the foundation of everything! Those who neglect warming up risk their health!"
The warm-up began with light jogging - five laps to warm up the muscles. Then we moved on to joint gymnastics: rotations of the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, pelvis, knees, and feet. Each movement had to be performed smoothly and attentively, without a single mistake.
"And now - the real work!" announced Raphael. "Let's show what your bodies are worth!"
