After finishing the call with her sister, the sky had just turned light, and Bai Cen Xi checked her watch. In the end, she decided not to go upstairs.
This trip was for official business anyway. Although it was still early, finishing up sooner meant getting back sooner. Besides, going upstairs now and seeing Lu Xinbai would probably make things more awkward; it would be better to wait until he finished his work and then have a proper talk with him.
