Maimai simply couldn't sleep. After a short nap, she lay on the bed watching TV. When she noticed someone push the door open and come in, she just glanced over and patted the spot next to her: "Hey, Lazybones, come sleep next to me. This movie is hilarious, I'm dying of laughter. Watch it with me."
Upon hearing this, Sheng Sheng's face lit up instantly, and he walked over, took off his shoes, and decisively lay down beside her.
Maimai pulled his arm over and rested her head on it, adjusting to a more comfortable position. "Hold the phone, let me tell you, that scene just now was super funny. Want me to rewind it so you can watch it again?"
Sheng Sheng's gaze fell on Maimai's neck as he softly asked, "Does it still hurt?"
"Let's not bring today's stuff up, just watch the movie with me." She finally found something to distract herself.
