After seeing Ye Chenxi off, He Longze closed the door, cleaned up the kitchen, then turned off all the lights downstairs before going upstairs.
He opened the bedroom door and saw that Ye Lantian was already lying down, so he went to the bathroom next door to get a basin of hot water, placed it by the bed, and gently called to the person on the bed.
"Lantian..."
Ye Lantian wasn't asleep, and upon hearing He Longze's voice, she opened her eyes, "Hmm?"
"Get up and soak your feet. It's been getting colder lately, and soaking your feet in warm water helps with blood circulation and prevents colds."
Ye Lantian was originally lying in bed lost in thought, but upon hearing the concern in He Longze's voice and seeing his actions, her heart suddenly softened.
As she sat up, he thoughtfully reached out to assist her.
Then he squatted down, took her delicate feet, rolled up her pant legs, and gently placed them in the warm water.
