Zhuo Yue looked deeply and affectionately at the girl in front of him. She brought him the thin porridge, and he ate it one spoonful at a time, staring at her without blinking, greedily thinking how wonderful it would be if she could stay by his side forever.
"Ah Yue, the doctor said you're not in good health, so you must be careful about what you eat in the future. You can't just eat anything recklessly, understand?"
As she spoke, she scooped up some porridge and fed him.
He sat there, staring blankly at her, as still as a puppet.
"And also, in a few days, if there's something you want to do, or somewhere you want to go, tell me, and I'll go with you!"
She smiled innocently and brilliantly, as if she didn't want him to realize the seriousness of his illness, so she behaved in an especially relaxed and easy-going manner.
There was no sadness evident because of his serious illness or imminent departure.
"No matter where I want to go, you'll accompany me?"
