Even after the explosion our two projectiles caused, we continued to fight for over 16 more hours.

Megumin tried all sorts of new things on me in an attempt to wound me, most failed, though some did get close and some even succeeded due to my currently limited form. She even blew up half of my vessel once, I was only able to continue fighting because Infinite Regeneration was busted when I was the one wielding it.

Parallel Existence weakened me an incredible amount, by choice mind you, but I only realized just how much the difference was with this fight.

The fight with Sillad, Yogumunt, and Rakan was not enough to show my current limitations since I still pretty much steamrolled them.

Partly because they weren't able to coordinate well with one another, sometimes even getting in each other's ways.

Then another part was that they hadn't refined their techniques as much as they could have, and their efficiency wasn't the greatest when compared to their age and experience, not like Megumun who was almost always improving and growing stronger, at least ever since I named her. It wasn't that long ago in the grand scheme of her life span, but her talent was great enough for even the time she'd been working thus far was enough to show results.

For example she tried to fire another magicule bullet at me, but when I predictably moved to tilt my head and dodge it (it looked cool), it blew up beside my face. It was a simple idea, but the fact that she did it showed she was learning and adapting to me.

The explosion was powerful enough to have blown straight through my Multi-Dimensional Barrier due to the concentrated spiritrons the explosion made use of, as well as Megumin's Haki.

Haki was an unpredictable power and could be developed in many ways and based on the person, could act slightly differently. For example my own Haki passively distorted Space around me, allowing me to bend attacks with my Haki alone.

Megumin's had Anti-Space effects, likely due to her almost single minded obsession with combat, and me being her biggest challenger yet. Though it also passively "exploded" spiritrons, and maybe would one day manage to "explode" even Information Particles.

I had told all those close to me about Information Particles some time back as it would be stupid not to. Arcueid, Lalatina, and Megumin were the closest to grasping them, they likely would have long ago back in the Daemon Realm if they cared to.

Rimuru said Raphael was already working on it, and thanks to Chronoa had a good base to work off on, but the power of Infon Manipulation couldn't be given to another as simple data as it was done in a slightly different way for each person. I could explain how I perceived Information Particles and the methodology I used to manipulate them, but if anyone tried to replicate it, they'd fail.

The only exception to that rule was the intrinsic ability to manipulate Infons that the Ultimate Skill: Gabriel, Lord of Patience gave to its user.

So Rimuru and Raphael would need to figure out their own way to manipulate Information Particles. Othinus seemed to have confidence in Raphael, she did look at the Ultimate Skill like a little sibling of sorts.

I suppose you could say they could be considered family since Odin, Lord of Cursed Knowledge improved and adapted itself based on data from Raphael, Lord of Wisdom during my Harvest Festival.

"If it bleeds, it can be defeated!" Megumin had cackled once she realized that her strategy worked.

My excuse would always be that I was way weaker now, but I wouldn't be a sore loser with her, no, that was reserved solely for Hinata.

I may have adapted most of my barriers to spiritrons, but due to their erratic nature nothing was perfect, and someone who could control them well enough, or wield a high quantity of them could cause some trouble to my current limited form.

Hinata was incapable of this, at least when I flexed that ability on her, though maybe that's changed and she could also wield spiritrons well enough to make me have to consciously focus on slapping them away, Megumin was an example of such a person.

Even most Divine Humans would be incapable of doing what Megumin did with that one bullet, but looking back she had been preparing that shot for quite some time, and just kept me distracted until she got the chance to shoot it.

She'd done a good job of hiding it, and I wasn't using all my sensory abilities or my precognition.

For my true form I imagine only a Skill like Metatron would be able to shatter my defenses with pure energy like spiritrons, well that and stardust.

As the fight went on, I could feel the effects of being in a lesser body more and more. Since this wasn't my true body, there were some delays in the reaction time, especially when it came to channeling some of my innate powers.

The delay was so miniscule that it was almost impossible to take advantage of for most, but Megumin could move at speeds that allowed her to do so which put me on the back foot here and there.

She was a Primordial after all, and while she wasn't a top tier, she was still very strong. Her technique, while not as good as my own just yet, was still incredible in its own right. So when equalized like we were now, she was capable of giving me a good fight.

After I blocked Megumin's thrust with Yamato, I leaped back, landing atop a floating chunk of fractured terrain as my coat fluttered from the pressure still rolling off her.

I exhaled slowly, letting Yamato lower just a few degrees.

"Heh, getting tired, Milord? Maybe you should bring out your true form." She said proudly.

"You'll need more than that if that's what you want."

"Fine, if that's what you want." Megumin said as she closed her eyes for a moment. I blinked as all of a sudden the intensity of her Aura increased, her overall power output increased as well, though her innate energy quantity remained the same.

Megumin's body began to glow a soft yellow hue. I used my own experience and knowledge over Megumin's powers to quickly figure out what was going on.

One of her sub-skills, Limit Break essentially allowed her to surpass her limits temporarily. This worked by burning her soul energy as fuel, though this wouldn't be permanent. It would still take quite some time to recover from, but in return the buff she got was tremendous.

"How about this, Milord!?" Megumin said with a laugh as her eyes glowed an eerie light. Before I could respond she blinked forwards, at speeds this body was almost unable to react to.

My mind could process it, but the body wasn't quick enough to avoid her attack.

She shouldn't be able to maintain this state for long, so she likely had a plan. Those were my thoughts as I ignored the pain as her blade sank into my side.

Not deeply, Yamato had come up just in time to deflect the angle, but not the force. The shock of the impact disturbed the energy this body was made of, ruining my efficiency further for the moment.

My coat tore as spiritrons and her Haki erupted from the strike point in a contained explosion, blowing the two of us apart.

I skidded backwards across a fragment of floating stone, heels carving lines into the broken surface as I caught my balance. Smoke hissed from the shallow gash in my side, my Multi-Dimensional Barrier already trying to stitch over the breach, but slower than usual.

As for the wound, it healed up in a moment with Infinite Regeneration, I never needed to worry about that in the first place. My broken regeneration could handle almost everything as long as I had the energy to fuel it. Though sooner rather than later I'd run out of energy too, as Magicule Breeder Reactor was disabled as part of the agreement I made with Megumin.

I hadn't realized just how weak Multi-Dimensional Barrier and Infinity could be when in an equalized fight. I suppose that went to show that I was right not to rely solely on them.

They weren't as broken as they seemed, they were only as good as they were because they were in my hands, with my absurd stats to back it up.

I imagine back when I was a Daemon Duke, Milim could have easily blown through my defenses, but she likely didn't either due to not wanting to delete me from existence, or she was humoring me. Either was possible with her, which only made it amusing to think back on what I thought back then, that Infinity was an almost unbreakable defense.

There were so many ways to disturb Space and even Time, which would heavily impact how good my two defences could be.

They were as "unbeatable" as they were when in my prime body because they had my authority and raw power always reinforcing them, expending magicules constantly whenever Infinity and Multi-Dimensional Barrier needed to tank a stronger attack.

This body didn't have that energy to waste.

But even then, Megumin could likely still swiftly overpower my defenses as my overall energy output was also far lesser in this Parallel Existence.

Megumin was really proving how seriously I needed to take her if I wanted to defeat her. I needed to either rely on my reservoir of Ultimate Skills, or come up with a new technique on the spot that wouldn't be fatal.

To be honest most of the absurd techniques I created were meant to kill, not for spars, so I was left rather short handed right now since Megumin was in a weird spot in which I needed a serious technique to beat her in this body, but not serious enough to permanently harm her, which would be tough to accomplish in my Parallel Existence.

Not to mention most of my Arts relied on my Ultimate Skills so I hadn't been using them, but now it may be time to start weaving together the Laws they functioned on manually.

I just felt like that was sorta cheating so I hadn't until this point, I wanted to give Megumin a chance.

Megumin twirled her katana once, gun spinning in her other hand as she hovered midair. That eerie glow around her was also intensifying, cracks of energy beginning to web through Space. "Hehe, not bad right?" She called out, a grin on her face. "You looked surprised!"

I nodded. "I am." I admitted, raising Yamato again and rotating my shoulder slowly.

Megumin grinned wide.

Her Haki was thicker now. The Anti-Space nature of it wasn't just passively lacing her Aura anymore, it was beginning to affect the surrounding environment, destabilizing the Space of this dimension.

Something like that would be impossible in the Cardinal World, but this was no Cardinal World, and Othinus wasn't maintaining the Space so much as she was making sure the dimension didn't pop.

The spiritrons in the air were running around chaotically, and beginning to turn into Dark Light. Agitated spiritrons were a far greater threat to me than normal spiritrons as they were much, much harder to predict, so harder to block.

She charged again, no warning this time. She was just using raw speed now, and she was still faster than this body could physically react to which was a weird perspective.

I could easily mentally process her attack, but my body just wouldn't do what I was telling it to do at the speeds required.

So I had to rely on something else to stop her, something that didn't rely on physical speed and power, but my computational power, and I did have an idea.

Two spatial chains unraveled from my palms as Megumin got closer. Since it didn't require physical movement, I could cast it fast enough to deal with Megumin. The chains quickly wove around the battlefield, they twisted between floating debris, across the sky, and into the fabric of space itself, pinning reality in place.

The Space of this Small World created dimension was already loose and messed up from what Megumin had done, so this wasn't as hard to do as it would have been in a real world.

Megumin's charge faltered midair, like she had hit a wall, all her momentum was gone.

"Huh!?"

I stepped forward slowly, Yamato resting over my shoulder. "This move essentially pins Space in place, and what is movement but moving in Space?"

Megumin's eyes widened in realization. "You stopped Space from moving, which prevented me from moving."

I nodded. "Mhmm."

"Cheater…" Megumin muttered, struggling to move as her Haki and Aura began to erupt out of her in renewed vigor. Her haki and aura blazed around her as a shockwave detonated around her.

I could feel my hold over Space weakening as she fought to resist. She laughed even as explosions boomed around her from her Haki as she twisted around, attempting to resist.

From here on I only had a few seconds to take advantage. If Megumin wasn't as worn out from this fight as she was, then this wouldn't have even held her back for a second, at least with the power of this body holding her in place.

But thankfully she was worn out, making this move feasible.

Yamato flared with my Haki, reddish black sparks of energy flickering into existence around it. I vanished from sight in the next instant.

Megumin barely had time to widen her eyes before I reappeared above her, blade poised, a torrent of compressed spatial force gathered behind the swing.

"Parry this!"

The moment Yamato came down, the Space of the entire dimension bent inwards, compressing around the arc like a lens.

"Shit!" Megumin screamed out, but I knew she could handle it, it's not like she was pulling her punches either.

My Haki spread across dimension as Megumin was forced to bear the brunt of the attack. Spiritrons were scattered from my attack, and the chains I created to bind Megumin were shattered.

I reappeared several meters away.

In the center of the dimension, where I strook Megumin, she stood. Her entire body was wounded, her clothing was tattered, and some of her limbs were missing, but they were in the process of regenerating.

I didn't feel bad, she was trying to do the same to me, and I knew she wouldn't take it personally.

And she was laughing too. "Pfft, hahaaha!"

"There it is." She said, staggering slightly. "I was wondering when you'd cut loose, Milord…"

I gave her a look. "I wouldn't say that was me cutting loose." I said, feeling the need to defend myself.

- Megumin -

"…I'm not done yet." She added, swiping some of her lifeblood from her lip as she pointed her katana at her Lord. "I've got one last thing." She said, ignoring his words about not letting loose.

"Hmm, I'll let you try what you've been working towards this entire fight." Her Lord said with a grin.

She had been working on recreating that Domain Expansion thing that Sukuna had shown to her. Not because it would help her much, but because it was cool. And if there was something that she knew her Lord respected, it was the rule of cool.

But now she was beginning to think that it could actually work against her Lord, especially in his current state. He may not have looked like it, but he was also rather worn out, not as much as her, but the effects of their fight were there.

Still, she couldn't deny that this was the best fight of her life so far. The fights with Blanc and Violet back in the Daemon Realm couldn't even compare, same with the fights she had with their more recent selves, Arcueid and Lalatina. Only now was she truly able to push herself to the limits, and only now she could feel the excitement that came along with the strain.

Her body ached, her energy was starting to become ridiculously low. Yet, she could feel the powers of Limit Break pushing her, well, past her limits. She felt it, she couldn't go much further now, her body would give out under her if she kept stalling, so she decided to use the card she had been saving so far.

Earlier in the fight, when she had seen that her spiritrons actually managed to bypass her Lord's unstoppable defenses, she had been inspired. And thus, she had begun working on her final attack.

Sure, the only reason was due to his current weak body, but a win was a win in her book. She was happy. But, when she eventually forced him to take his true form was when what she truly desired would begin.

When she was forced to taste defeat, and her conqueror could do whatever he pleased with her.

She could feel her core begin to tingle at the thought, but she focused on the fight.

Her Lord was giving her the time for her final attack, that was his arrogance, a well deserved arrogance but an arrogance nonetheless.

As she prepared, her mind wandered to how things were in the past. Before Arcueid reached out to her, she was mostly just going at things day by day.

Leon was her newest toy, something to keep her entertained. Their fights never went far, partly because she couldn't go all out due to being restricted to the level of an Arch Daemon in the Cardinal World, and on Leon's end because he didn't want to damage his country.

So their fights ended up being nothing more than battles of attrition, which tended to get boring. Though she always stuck around because of what Leon did to her in the past. He foiled her attempt at getting a vessel she could incarnate into the Cardinal World centuries earlier, and he killed one of her strongest minions back then too.

Sure, if that didn't happen she wouldn't be with her Lord now, but she would still be petty.

She'd been around for a long time. Long enough that even the joy of destruction wore thin. A big boom was great, sure, but once you've leveled half a country, every explosion after just felt like a bad rerun.

She was pretty much just chasing the next high back then. The competition she, Arcueid, and Lalatina shared was one of the things she looked forward to. Once that was over she was pretty bummed out, but Arcueid reached out to her, and the rest was history.

Back then she had been surprised that Arcueid claimed to have found a new Lord worthy of service. After Blanche, she didn't think Arcueid would be associating much with the Cardinal World, and yet her Lord Felix did have an odd charm about him.

She wasn't attracted to him solely due to his power, even if that is why she began to serve him in the beginning. He'd won her over with his charm, personality, views and ideals, as well as the joy they'd shared together. It wasn't some deep fairy tail story, but she never cared for the fantasy.

But she was getting distracted now, wasn't she?

She moved her arms forward, her fingertips touching each other, yet her palms separated as if she were holding an orb. Then, with a grin, she shouted.

"Domain Expansion!"

In truth, it wasn't one, just a simple imitation, but that was more than enough for what she needed. She didn't even need to say it out loud, but it would be lame not to.

She had already adapted to the slightly differing Laws of this universe, as every world seemed to have slightly different Laws, though they were all based on the Laws Veldanava created. His Laws were the foundation of the multiverse, but different worlds seemed to have minor modifications that made certain different abilities possible.

Though even doing that was unthinkable to her. With all her experience she wouldn't be able to create her own Laws, even using the True Dragon Veldanava's as a foundation. She could understand her Lord's curiosity about the creator of this universe.

But she was getting lost in her thoughts. Thankfully Thought Acceleration gave her more than enough time to think.

Faster than most could react, a barrier enclosed around the two of them, and before her Lord could react, she inscribed her will and techniques into the barrier itself. Yet, the scenery around them didn't change, not yet.

This sorta thing was all about visualization. And she was going to make sure to blow her Lord away.

Closing her eyes, she focused on the image she was trying to create, the very phenomena she would imbue into her Domain. One inspired by the primordial explosion she had read about in some books. The mother of all other detonations. The kind of explosion strong enough to create entire universes. Probably.

That was what she would create, an explosion so strong that it would tear through her Lord's defenses like paper, which was easier than ever at this moment due to their fight and his limited power.

In an instant, her palms began to glow with an unstable fusion of spiritrons, her Haki, and even her soul energy that was being burned to keep Limit Break active, which pushed her beyond her limits.

Using her palms as the core of the explosion, she focused the agitated spiritrons between them.

In theory, there was a limit as to how much she could theoretically hold and manipulate, but she didn't care about such things at the moment. She pushed every single magicule and spiritron around herself, all the energy her and her Lord had leaked during this fight, condensing them to the point that the energy gathered around her palms was greater than her own EP.

It shouldn't have been possible, but she had been prepared, and at this very moment, she was releasing all of the energy she had syphoned from their attacks during their battle. Energy she had kept inside a separate dimension, and then some more energy she had stored ahead of time as well.

Then, using her Space-Time Manipulation, she began to force and condense all of the energy that was naturally in the air. Energy that didn't exist in such quantities in the universe they had traveled to, but energy that was present in the dimension that her Lord had created.

As every single piece of energy within the barriers condensed around her, the surrounding temperatures spiked rapidly, to the point that it was hotter than a sun inside the dimension. But she could spot her Lord Felix standing a distance away, waiting for her to use her attack, completely unaffected by the change.

As more and more of the Space around them was condensed into one orb, the temperature changed from a blazing sun to a freezing void, and along with it, the very fabric of Space warped and was quickly consumed by her attack.

By this point, they had been left in an empty void within her domain. Yet, the spiritrons condensing around her caused a beautiful influx and vortex around her that resembled a galaxy.

In theory, this should have been enough. Her attack was already at the Ultimate level thanks to the spiritrons and mastery behind it. But she wasn't satisfied with just that, an explosion of this caliber wouldn't be enough to make her Lord flinch.

Reaching into herself, she began to incorporate all of the minus energy she had been storing for this moment. In the Cardinal World, she would have had a nearly limitless supply, since she could connect to the Abyss of Hell. But this world wasn't connected to the Daemon Realm.

Minus energy had a unique property that made it useful, it was negative energy. It could cancel out any positive energy in equal amounts, and almost every single energy that was used was some form of positive energy.

So the minus energy would help counter many of her Lord's abilities that he could use to shield himself from her attack, but she had to be careful to make sure it didn't cancel out her own energy as well.

With a final breath, she saw as the explosion in her hands finished condensing into a singular small orb. Leaving her and her Lord in an absolute void, devoid of air, magicules, or even space-time itself.

"Big Bang." She finally announced, yet no sound left her mouth as she brought her palms together, squishing the orb in her hands.

It was a simple name, yet she found it was intimidating enough. Not that the name mattered much to her. She doubted there would be anyone other than her Lord with whom she would be forced to use this. After all, this was nothing if not an absolute waste of energy. Absolute overkill.

Her Lord's eyes widened. "What the fu–" That was as much as her Lord could say as the world around them practically erupted.

In an instant, the world went white. The explosion detonated with enough force that for a second, she even wondered if she herself had died. After all, she couldn't sense anything, couldn't see anything, and couldn't feel anything.

Still, she didn't hold back her smile as her DIY Domain Expansion began to do its thing. At the very last second, she had used Dimension Rupture, so maybe she had simply blown apart her Lord's Dimension, and she was currently floating around in the void between some universes.

She hadn't used Dimension Rupture the entire fight, mostly in the hopes that her Lord let his guard down against it.

Still, she knew she was alive. For one, because she shouldn't have been affected by her own attack, and for another, because she could still feel the barrier she had placed in order to create her domain.

In an instant, it shattered, and with it her vision and senses returned.

With the barrier containing it gone, the explosion tore outward in every direction, not just vaporizing the landscape, but erasing it. She could even sense the Space around them tearing as it quickly rushed to try to fill in the void she had created before.

In the end all of it was erased.

The explosion expanded at speeds that most could not even perceive, even she was barely able to track it, and she was the one who created it. At this rate, there was a good chance that the dimension they were in would collapse, and then the next dimension, and the next.

All of a sudden, the debris, the rupturing of Space, all the effects of her attack seemed to pause for a moment, before it all slowly rewinded.

Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening. Her Lord was rewinding Time.

Once everything was cleared, and the dimension was stable once again, she spotted her Lord, hands in his pocket, looking as pristine as ever, and with a proud glint in his eyes. His blade, Yamato, was also now missing. She assumed he sent it to his personal subspace.

She grinned a wild grin as she realized why, as she sensed the Aura he was releasing.

It was far greater than what his old form was capable of, the form he was using to enjoy himself in this dimension.

She had forced him to take her seriously. One may argue that he allowed her to attack him, and gave her the time to do so, but that wasn't her fault, she didn't tell him to do that.

So as far as she was concerned, this was still a win.

Now only the first step of their fight had been complete, now she still had the rest to go.

She had learned a lot in this fight as well. She could tell her mastery over her Haki had increased for one. She had possessed Demon Lord's Haki for ages, and even played around with it, using it for intimidation, but it was never really her kind of ability.

Back in the Daemon Realm she had her explosions to keep her busy. Not to mention she didn't really need it either.

That was until she saw all the ways her Lord began to use it, and his power with it looked divine to her. It was a power fit for an overlord, for those who had the disposition to stand above all.

Her Lord took a step forward, as she was still looking around in wonder at the dimension, now completely restored from practically the singularity she created.

"I'll admit, that caught me a bit off guard." He said with a laugh. "I didn't expect for you to throw a literal big bang-level attack at me. There was no way in hell that worn out vessel was going to last with all that Anti-Space stuff mixed in."

She beamed proudly at her Lord's recognition, even as Limit Break continued to strain her beyond measure. She wouldn't let it deactivate now, not when the real fight was only now starting.

She could worry about regenerating the lost soul energy later, and with her Lord's abilities and resources that likely wouldn't be much trouble at all.

"I imagine you would have destroyed the universe of the world we were in with that, even with all the reinforcement the Rulers did." Her Lord mused out loud. "Though in the Cardinal World that wouldn't even engulf the entire Cardinal World, let alone the universe. So don't get too big of a head because of that massive explosion."

She pouted at his words but nodded nonetheless. She was aware that her attack's results would be quite a lot weaker in their home world, though that didn't change the fact that it was her biggest explosion yet.

"Well you got what you wanted." He said as he took another step forward. "Are you ready to continue, or do you want a break?" He said teasingly.

She grinned a wild grin. "Never! Come at me, Milord!" She laughed with glee.

She could feel her core begin to heat up as she pictured what was about to occur. Oh yes, she knew she had already lost this fight long ago, she wanted to lose this fight in fact, to be shown her place as her Lord showed her how little she was in front of him.

Her desires were not the same as Lalatina's, and she would forever deny that, but she could admit they were similar. She wanted her Lord to show her one of the reasons why she served him, why she was the submissive one in their relationship, she wanted him to ruthlessly defeat her, and show her her place before he took her, as was his right.

And as a Spiritual Lifeform, that guaranteed her defeat, but she would fight nonetheless. Fight and lose.

"Hmm, if you say so." Her Lord said with a shrug.

Then he vanished from her perception, it wasn't that he concealed himself, but he was moving so fast that she couldn't even perceive him with her Ultimate-level senses.

He must have manipulated the Laws to leave no trail. There was no sonic boom, no wind was being displaced from his movements, nothing. Making it almost impossible for her to sense him, and therefore react to him without relying solely on her instincts.

All of a sudden she gasped as a powerful kick slammed into her back, launching her forward like a meteor.

Her own momentum left a sonic boom behind her. She barely had time to process the impact before another kick smashed into her side, sending her crashing sideways through the air, spinning uncontrollably.

She caught her balance just in time to see a blur, and then–

CRACK!

Another kick, this time to her jaw, snapping her head back and nearly sending her Limit Break into critical overload as she almost lost her focus.

The kicks weren't simple kicks, even if her Lord's absurd physical power would likely cause her quite a lot of trouble. He had self proclaimed that he was probably one of the most durable people out there under the True Dragons, if not at their level, physical constitution wise.

He was moving faster than she could track, zigzagging through the air. One second he was above her, the next he was behind, then below, then to the side.

It wasn't that her own calculation speeds and physical speeds weren't up to par. She could run circles around even Saints, but her Lord was an entirely different beast.

WHAM! THUD! CRACK!

Each blow landed perfectly, never wasting force, each strike landing from a new angle, from a new axis. He wasn't just kicking her, he was making a point. The point being that he was better than her, that she was his inferior in combat.

She fought him when they were mostly equalized and she managed to technically defeat him, but she knew he wasn't using even a fraction of his abilities back then. No Time Stop, no Ultimate Skills, etc.

A kick to the ribs. A spinning heel to the shoulder. A sudden dropkick from above that sent her hurtling toward the ground–

But before she could even hit the floor, he was already there, delivering a rising kick that sent her right back up.

Still, through the haze of pain and blinding motion, she smiled.

This is what she wanted. To be overwhelmed, to be shown her place.

Eventually her Lord backed off for a moment. Her entire form was wounded, but she expended almost the last of her energy to heal herself back to her pristine state, even her clothing was patched up.

Her Lord could have directly infused his energy into her when he landed an attack, preventing her regeneration, but he didn't even do that. He didn't need to do that.

"Well I think that's more than enough now." Her Lord said as he raised a brow. "Oh wow, that really got your motor running, hmm?"

- Felix -

As I looked at the panting Megumin, I could only mentally shake my head. She was getting off on my absolute dominance over her now. In fact she wanted me to do more, but I was getting bored of that.

"Well, I think it's pretty clear that I've won. I suppose it's time I take my prize." I mused out loud as I looked around the now pristine dimension.

Rewinding the time of this dimension wasn't a difficult task at all. Time was far more flimsy inside this dimension, partially because I created it, and then there was the fact that no force was surprising my Temporal Manipulation like what happened in the Cardinal World.

From my experiments I knew that the Voice of the World really didn't like any direct Temporal Manipulation in the Cardinal Universe. It was still possible, but it required a lot of brute force that I usually didn't care to do.

But seriously, Megumin went way overboard, I didn't expect her to launch such an attack at me.

Sure, the effects wouldn't be as dramatic in the Cardinal World, but even then it was an impressive attack. I imagine it would erase most people on her level that were caught in it.

Megumin looked at me with pleading eyes as I stepped towards her. My barrage of attacks wasn't meant to take her out or anything, but to get her even more desperate.

Being shown just how much I was above her seemed to make Megumin feel extremely aroused.

Through this fight I was able to confirm my suspicion, she had a defeat fetish, and it wasn't even a normal defeat fetish. She seemed to get off specifically at losing to me, horribly.

I knew this because the spars between her and Milim that happened here and there resulted in Milim's clear victory, yet Megumin did not feel the desires I could feel in her now.

She didn't move as I closed the distance, just tilted her head up, defiant even now.

"You really don't know when to quit, do you?" I murmured, my voice a low purr as I loomed over her. "Or maybe you just like being put in your place."

She shivered at that, but not from fear. No, I could feel straight up delight and excitement at my words.

A deep part of her craved this imbalance, the total loss of control. I suppose being at the top of the food chain for eons had worn on Megumin, and she was desperate for something different with one she could trust to hold control over her.

Her submissiveness was not too dissimilar from Lalatina's, but it was in a different flavor.

Military brats. They wanted to be strong, but they yearned to be weak.

The glimmer in her eyes said it all, she wanted me to prove my superiority, again and again, until there was no question left, not in her mind, not in her body.

I let my fingers graze her chin, lifting it gently so she had no choice but to meet my gaze. "I've already rewound this place." I said, almost lazily. "Every mark, every crater, every shockwave, gone. But you, what should I do with you?" I asked, playing into the situation we had.

She bit her lip. I leaned closer, breath ghosting over her ear. "So?"

She let out the faintest, desperate laugh. "Whatever you want." She whispered. "I already lost, didn't I?"

"Hmm, this is true. And the spoils go to the victor no?"

Author's Note:

Sup everyone, back with another chapter of Daemon.

The fight with Megumin goes on, and she goes full chuuni with the domain expansion. They are pretty cool. She actually manages to bypass infinity and multi-dimensional barrier which is pretty tough to do.

Though as pointed out in the chapter those two abilities really ain't shit to most. It's just that Felix is op enough to buff them up with his power continuously. Without that buff up they aren't nearly as unbeatable as Felix's seems to be, and that was shown in this chapter with Megumin handily getting through them multiple times.

Chapter is a little shorter since it was a good spot to end things, and I didn't want to end the smut part way through.

Anyways, next chapter is the long awaited smut with Megumin!

Thanks for reading, peace.

Thanks to @Salante and @Flowerman for beta'ing this chapter.
