Yang had forgone the (probably overkill) amount of destruction happening in the Kingdom of Edolas to deliver Happy and Carla to Extalia for some answers. As it turns out, the Cat people are all weak except for Panther Lily. And thus they cowered at the very sight of Yang's Dragon form.
Even the Knights looked like they were ready to shit bricks and pass out. They did earn some respect by managing to stay standing in her presence as she brought Happy and Carla to the Castle. But then things got weird when the Queen actually stepped outside.
"Great Dragon.. I-I apologize for what you may have heard. Truthfully, we had never sent our children to Earthland to assassinate the Dragonslayers.. That mandate was a lie, to fool the King of Edolas. Please.. spare my people. It was my own deception that brought you here." The Queen, a beautiful white cat woman who looked like Carla bowed deeply, followed by the minister Exceed behind her.
...
"What are you talking about...? I'm dropping these two off so they can get some answers..." Yang replied, awkwardly scratching the back of her head.
Carla herself looked shocked at the Queen's admission. But both Yang and Happy looked fairly clueless as the Exceed Queen and her court looked at each other in surprise and confusion.
"So you're... not here because of the danger to your children, the Dragonslayers.....?" The Queen asked, tentatively.
Yang snorted, then started laughing.
"Y-You think Happy or Carla... could kill kids? I honestly wanna see Happy try.." Yang snickered, seeing Happy's dumb smile unchanged.
"Aye! Wait... was that an insult!?"
Happy's indignation went ignored as Carla stepped toward the Queen with a complicated expression.
"What did you really order us to do? Why were we sent to Earthland?"
The Queen sighed and suddenly went from a tall, anthropomorphic cat woman, to a cat girl the size of the rest of the Exceed.
"My Daughter.. I'm sorry that our reunion wasn't happier. The truth is, I believe you've inherited my magic, Precognition. These 'orders' you've seen are likely due to your magic. In truth? There were no such orders. We had sent one hundred eggs to Earthland.. our Children, to ensure the survival of our race."
Carla and Happy looked shocked but Yang nodded along. Given how weak the Exceed were and their magical nature, they probably thought Humans would hunt them to total extinction. Yang knew better. Death would be a mercy to them if they didn't have this 'Angelic' image to the humans below. They'd be butchered and drained of magic every day so Edolas' humans can have their magic tools.
"You see, in the past, we were hunted and abused by Humans. It was when we showed our magic and cultivated this image of Heavenly beings did they fear us enough. But fear only bought us enough time. The King.. he thirsts, desperately for a source of infinite magic. And Edolas has surely developed the technology to turn us into Lacrima, given what they've done with Anima..."
Yang hummed. On a level, it made sense. But humans could be cruel. They likely'd only turn the Exceed's fighters into Lacrima, then breed the Exceed and squeeze every last drop of magic from them. Like farm animals.
It was a gruesome thing to do to sentient beings like the Exceed. And who's to say years later, after they leave, that Edolas won't try to do that again?
After the Queen's explanation finished, Yang spoke up, looking to all the gathered Exceed.
"My sister's dealing with Edolas. We'll be leaving today. But we're bringing you with us." The announcement was met with quiet murmurs, disbelief and a bit of hope.
"You.. would bring us? All of Extalia, to your world? Why..?" The Queen asked.
"Oh I just love pussy..." Yang replied, a wide, somewhat funny-looking grin on her Draconic face.
The pun went over everyone's head but Carla's, who just blushed and groaned into her palm.
"Ahem! What I mean is.. you're all pretty innocent and I'd rather not leave you in a world where magic may fade. There's no guarantee the Humans won't look at you as sources of power to harness, even IF we get Edolas to sign some sort of treaty today with whoever's left to rule their Kingdom." Yang explained.
The Exceed Queen understood. Perhaps in a place with abundant magic, they could truly live in peace. So she nodded.
"Please, help us. Take us with you back to your home."
Yang grinned, "It's a done deal. I'll see if my Sister and our Guildmates are done down below. I'll be back, so get everyone to pack up."
Then, she flew off, leaving Extalia and seeing the half destroyed Kingdom of Edolas below. She was a bit surprised to see Edolas' Fairy Tail helping the civilians out of ruined buildings. But then she was even more surprised to see Yin, aura farming atop the ruined Castle, just outside a huge crater. She was facing Mystogan, who turned out to be Edolas' Jellal, looming ominously above him while his staff pointed at her.
"Huh... what're you doing now, Sis..?"

.

"What are you doing..?" Jellal asked, his voice shaking as the magic within the atmosphere and tools was drained away, into Yin's body.
"What you planned to. You were going to reverse Anima. Send all the Ethernano back to Earthland. I'm taking it myself. Right in front of everyone's eyes." Yin quietly answered, voice rumbling as her scales crackled with magical power.
"You needed a villain, Jellal. Something to direct your subject's anger towards? What better villain than a giant monster who steals away your magic and leaves your Kingdom half destroyed? I've killed plenty of your rider Knights already. It won't be difficult to say this was all my fault."
Jellal's fists clenched. A large part of him hated how right she was. Though he never blamed her, as they had been taken in by his Father's madness. Her and his Guildmates had pretty much single-handedly solved their issues in only a couple days.
"Hmph.." Yin smirked, standing up and hearing the terror of the civilians across the Capital.
"HEAR ME, O LAST PRINCE OF EDOLAS. I have stolen your magic, murdered your King and slaughtered your Knights. I will take my servants and spare your lives, only if you entertain me and fight at your best.. human." Yin shouted loudly, wings spread out as she stared Jellal down.

-Jellal, Ruins of Edolas-
He had never really understood the twins. To be fair on them, he was rarely around the Guild as Mystogan. Too busy stopping Anima from Earthland's side. But they seemed like good people, given how the others gravitated toward them. Erza and the Dragonslayers to Yin and the Strauss siblings to Yang. Pretty much everyone in the Guild had a 'big sister' impression of them both.
*WHAM!*
"Kugh!"
'So why had it come to this?' Jellal asked himself, waving his staff and making several magic orbs fly at Yin before exploding in her face.
It did nothing. And her claw struck out, simply grazing him and sending him flying back, sliding along the rubble-strewn streets. Her silhouette was huge, walking toward him, like a predator that knows it far outstrips its prey in ability.
*CRACK!*
He barely managed to raise his most solid metal staff to defend himself. It broke upon contact with Yin's claw and he forced himself to leap back before her claws could puncture through his flesh. Jellal slid back against the wet ground, just now realizing it had begun to rain. Likely from all the extreme heat that rose into the air earlier.
"You..." Jellal muttered, looking up at Yin and nearly freezing on the spot.
Horns that jutted outward from her head like a crown crackled with purple, ruinous energy. Her scales sharp enough to shred even his most promised Knight's armor, gleamed with a sinister light. The wings were glowing with the same ominous purple light but above all? The worst were her eyes. Red and tinted with the same dreadful color. She was looking down on him, physically, yes but also emotionally.
Jellal stepped back without even realizing it, seeing Yin's lips split into a disdainful sneer.
"Stand on your own two feet, Prince. Will you run away and leave your subjects?"
That stopped him. Jellal looked around and saw the terrified faces of Knights and commoners both, watching him and praying that he'd save them.
He stopped, steeling himself as he took out his staff and pointed it at Yin as thunder cracked in the sky above. It was supposed to be an act, a ruse. But he forgot all of that. Right now, he was the Prince Edolas needed him to be.
"Five layered magic circle! Sacred Song!" Jellal pulled four more of his staves out, planting them in front of them as several magic circles form around Yin.
Then, a bright light descended down and struck like the hammer of a God, creating yet another crater as he grit his teeth. His eyes focused on the light as it pressure blasted Yin into the ground. Yet, as the light of the attack dimmed, Yin stood within the crater, unharmed. Her mouth opened wide and Jellal found his body becoming faster all of a sudden, allowing him to dodge as a sea of blue flames rose above him.
"My body..?" Jellal looked off to his left and noticed Irene standing with Wendy and Erza, all watching his fight with serious expressions.
"Eyes UP, Prince." Yin growled, landing a slap on Jellal's entire body, smashing him straight through several stone walls.
Jellal winced, winded but otherwise felt mostly okay. Irene had enchanted him to be stronger, more durable and quicker. Likely to sell the fight as believable.
"Air magic!" Jellal pulled out his Wind staff and turned into mist, reforming above Yin, where he struck down at her head and unleashed an explosion spell.
*THUD!* *BOOOOM!*
Jellal flew back from the force of the explosion, landing on his feet as the smoke from the explosion wafted away, revealing a crack along Yin's head that oozed steaming blood. Her lips widened into a smirk as she laughed.
"Good.. Good! You have provided me with a decent enough fight, human. In exchange, I will return with my subordinates. Thank your luck, for I shan't return. Your magic forever stolen away, you provide no true challenge." Yin stood upright, spreading her arms out as a circle appeared above her.
"Come, my Subordinates.. There are worthier foes to conquer. To Elentear!" Yin spread her wings and held out her hand, summoning all of her Guildmates, sans Yang and Irene, to her.
Jellal fell to one knee, watching them fly into the circular portal. Then, as soon as they passed through, Yin looked at Jellal and passed on a message.
"Remember the rules of leaving the Guild." And with one last smirk, she too flew into the portal.
"....Yeah, I'll remember." Jellal collapsed, hearing the weeping and cheers of his people as they ran over to him.

-Yin, Elentear-
"That was fun-"
After quickly transforming back, she was immediatelt glomped by Selene, who started sniffing her neck.
"Uh...? Thanks for the transport. What're you.." Yin tried to ask before Selene pulled back, sighing dramatically.
"You've been with another Dragon. Hmph.. must've been that redhead." Selene shook her head in faux disappointment.
"Riiiight.. I have. Not the place or time to talk about that though." Yin replied, looking at Lucy, Wendy and Gajeel's blushing faces as they looked away.
"Ah very well.. Shall I pick the other Dragon and your delicious Sister? They're both on that Island of Cats." Selene asked, tilting her head and cupping her chin.
"Oh! Grab the Black Cat too! He's my new Cat partner." Gajeel chimed in with a request.
Yin gave Selene the go ahead, while Natsu and company started to look around Selene's room.
'That reminds me.. should Yang and I get cats too..?'
[AN: Here ya are. I also uploaded Reborn Ruin Princess on WN too. Casual guy gets reborn as Rias, trains to not be 'Potential Woman' and gets misunderstood by people around her, like Cid Kagenou. Only she's not LARPing lmao]
